whats annoying about the suarez incident is gerrards aftermatch interview what a total disgrace this man is he said nothing about Suarez's cowardly act on branno this so called England captain was praising this horrible little man suarez as if nothing had happened well all I can say is you gerrard are no better than that rotter suarez I am glad you never signed for us years ago you were never and never will be a Chelsea player your a scouser mate end of.

I don't think you can criticise him for that, he talked about the football, and as a footballer Luis is a class above. As a human he's a bloody person!

I agree with top post, gerrard should have said what a wrong un suarez is.

I think he should. We cannot let this behaviour be deemed acceptable and should do everything within our power to deter any future incidents.

The FA need to have a sit down and a long hard think and change things. The Premier League is becoming a mockery of what it once was. There have been diabolical refereeing decisions the entire season and the FA have been ineffective to say the least.
Referee's decisions have shaped our campaign starting with the Torres red card and Hernandez offside goal which began our decline under RDM and led to his sacking. Aguero's challenge on Luiz and Suarez today have both changed the results of games which have been crucial.
Some referee's need to go back to ref school or kids weekend games as they're clearly not up to standard.
I'm going to try to keep hope that we'll finish in the top4 but if decisions keep going like they have been and Rafa's his usual poor self then I think we'll struggle.

One day there will have to be possibility of incident replay re. major refereeing decisions given number of times major ones are wrong and effect result of game. In cricket captains allowed 3 challenges of umpire decision per innings. Something like this must be introduced in soccer because we're all seeing huge mistakes and refs looking stupid. Today, arsenal non-penalty v Norwich etc while huge consequences at stake. FA/Blatter et al in earlier century here? VBS

So many things have left me fuming today!

1 - Did Benitez want us to win? Last week against Man City we were chasing the game, needed 1 goal, Mancini brought on Lescott to add to the defence to see the game out. Today we need to see the game out, he brings on Benayoun for our best player on the day, and then takes off Mata and Oscar! He left us with no out ball and no one capable of getting hold of the ball up top. He invited them onto us and left us with no chance of easing the pressure. Terrible. It was all about sentiment today and it could cost us massively come the end of the season. Giving Nando a full game when he was terrible, and bringing on Benayoun was all down to sentiment. I gave him a chance but today his ridiculous substitutions cost us, and it was all down to his sentiment. Proved he's a complete p***k.

2 - How was it not a foul when Sturridge went through Bertrand? You could see Bertrand was in agony from it and i'm not surprised because it looked awful. It was a booking easily at least.

3 - Where did the ref get 6 minutes from?

4 - The ball was out of play bang on 6 minutes, the ref let us throw it in, get it down their end, them get the ball down and wide, and then cross it in to score? What happened for the ref to add on an extra 30 seconds? Seemed like he was hoping for one last big hurrah and for them to have one last chance.

5 - Suarez. Nothing you can say to that, disgrace. How Ivanovic didn't take his head off i'll never know. He's a shameful player. I don't care how good he is, yes he's one of the best in the world and I would love to have someone with his ability at Chelsea, but biting someone? What sort of person wants to bite someone? It takes a second to throw a punch at someone and lash out, but to grab someones arm and forcefully try and bite them? Someone who does that knows exactly what they're doing because they're doing it so they don't get seen. Coward.

And the last thing to annoy me, and its p***ed me off more than anything, is Benitez's reaction. If this had happened to United, you wouldn't hear the end of it (rightly so), Ferguson would have him hung drawn and quartered. If this happened to us with Jose in charge, you wouldn't hear the end of it. If this was to happen to us and we were playing United, then you can guarantee Benitez would be having a fact rant and complaining to the FA. But the fact this happened against Liverpool and all Benitez can say is he didn't see it, well for me that's it. Until he's gone I honestly can't enjoy watching Chelsea. What must you think if you're Ivanovic and your own manager doesn't back you up because he's still hoping to get a move back to his old club? I'd just think what a kn*b you are and wouldn't want to play for him. I love all our players and our club, whatever they do off the pitch is upto them. As long as they give their all for our club to be the best then i'm happy. I never slated RDM or AVB, because even if results didn't go our way they still give their all for our club. But Benitez doesn't care one bit. He loves Liverpool and has made it abundantly clear whilst he's been here, so to now keep quiet about this so that he doesn't upset his old club. the players will notice that and it won't go down well. Not long til he's gone thankfully.

I wish we had a bit of that old Chelsea today. Imagine having Didier, Ballack, JT, Lamps, Ricki, Ash and Maka on the pitch with Jose on the side line when that happened. Suarez wouldn't have made it to the end of the game, he would have been broken in half. We need Jose back to instil that fighting spirit again, that's what Chelseas all about!

Anyone, i'll leave it there, as you can tell I just needed to vent some anger.

Complain about his tactics but don't complain about Benitez reaction to the bite. yes he still cares about Liverpool and showed it today with his response to the Suarez incident. But don't foreget many of you fans don't want him at the club. He has been told he is not wanted at the end of the season. Why should he care. He is a professional manager who has no feeling for your club because of the way some fans have treated him.

Thanks for your honesty mate, to be honest the points are gone so I couldn't care less what happened to him, just like Aguero if he was sent off at the time and we had won then justice would have been done, in both occasions Chelsea are the real losers

No respect for Liverpool anymore, Suarez needs a leash and a Hannibal style mask, Carragher should have been sent of for his constant badgering of the ref and these two are considered legends there, awefull stuff.

Mikel made a few fouls and went up to the ref but to compare him to Mikel is stupid. It's behaviour like Carraghers that makes me want to switch to Rugby's point of view whereby the captain can only talk to the ref.

What a manager should say in that situation.

"Brana says he was bitten by Suarez and I beleive him. I don't need to see the footage to tell you what should happen now. Brana reacted in the best possible way and he should be applauded for that. "

Thats something Jose or Ferguson would have said, backing their own players. Not hiding their head in the sand.

ref was a joke today, only thing he got right was our pen. Him and the assistant missed Suarez bite, Torres should have had another penalty as he was held back and Sturridge also could have seen red for his challenge on Bertrand. The ref should get a longer ban the Suarez for this performance, absolutely terrible!

Why the pessimism? All teams going for top four finish will drop points for sure. Okay we play MU but hopefully they will have won the title by then. We play Spurs so it is in our hands. By the way, I would ban Suarez for 8 games and cancel his goal. Proitos.

Where did the officials get 6 mins extra time and why want the biter already sent off for a blatant attempt at cheating by trying to disguise his handball. At 6mins and 22 secs we had a throw on and the ref could have ended the game but he had his on agenda! what really really annoys me his how Chelsea take this diabolical refereeing display laying down, the ref should have ben lynched by Chelsea coming off the pitch.

The man who bit ivanovich and blatantly handled the ball should have got a red, Chelsea know it Liverpool know it the officials know it but Chelsea always get the simpleton ref

Yea, last season it was Johnson, this term it's Sturridge. U got to love it. What exactly do our so-called 'superstars' bring to our game that Sturridge lacks? It all goes down to coaching! Each time I watch the lad play, I see the mark of a great player who only needs some patience, confidence and tutelage. Oh, we've got El Nino! And who says Schurlle is better than Sturridge? Plus we're going to pay 22m pounds 'cos he's German.

Yeah got to agree, Suarez and Sturridge will be a phenomenal pairing next year. Also look at Scott Sinclair as well. Ok he's not stting the PL a light but if he's good enough now to be a squad player at Man City, why could we not have kept him? To let him go for 500K was stupid.

I can't see suarez at liverpool next season!

LOL Suarez will NOT be here next season, I can almost guarentee it. Despite what I think of him as a person (deplorable), he's a quality player and should be playing in a Champions League team challenging for titles. Saying that I'd be happy never seeing him play again.

Im a red and any decent liverpool fan will agree suarez was a disgrace, but to question the class of the people is bang out of order, most people at the match probably didn't know about it so yes they will be singing his name, but i'm sure hell get what's coming to him, and you'll all be singing for terry. class of the people as you put it works both ways yeah? {Ed018's Note - I know that a lot of the Liverpool supporters on this site are outraged by Suarez}

Suarez should be banned for the rest of the season. If the FA do nothing then it's truly time they all retire. Can't think of anyone more useless than the FA. {Ed018's Note - he should. Biggest load of s**t ever. Suarez should of been sent off and whistle should have been blown earlier. Saying that Rafa's subs were useless and didn't help at all. Benayoun was warming up for 20mins before he even put him on.

Sturridge should have also been sent off.

The sooner Suarez leaves the league the better. Biting another player, there's something wrong with him.
