If truly Chelsea has set a fee Kante then there's a green snake in the green tuft.

When clubs, true or false show interest, a fee is always thrown out and this applies to all clubs. What Chelsea need to do is give him decent support. The covering workload when playing with either Fabregas or Bayakoko is huge and is unfair to him and seriously impacts our game.

Obviously no one ever saw Gerrard win the league but has anyone ever seen him smile?
Has he got dodgy teeth?

{Ed0333's Note - let’s hope he doesn’t use the same dentist as Klopp and Bobby

My old mum used to say “ never trust a man with two first names (John Terry) or a man with to many teeth (Klopp)

{Ed0333's Note - my mum used to say you’ll never amount to anything...and she was right lol

Read today how chelsea are targeting certain players but champions league money means Roman will have to sell to buy, my question is, with FFP and how it's done I believe over 2 years and being a year behind would no champions league football affect us this summer or would it affect next summers? If that makes sense,

who even cares anymore let's be honest our transfer policy has been a joke anyway buying average players off leicester city an players who couldn't get a game for arsenal hige lack of ambition shown in past 12 months. we paid more for morata dan we recieved for a proven goalscorer in costa that says it all really.

Costa wanted to leave which is doesn’t help and pushed for exit?

i no that and we know conte didn't want him but morata has been a terrible replacement doesn't look like a premier league player maybe use him an try to swap for icardi or insige dybala etc? . i do like him do would like to see 1 more season of him. an nobody would of thought baka would be so poor to be fair i personally never liked matic but its clear the job he was doing was good as our midfield looks vunreble since he left . number 1 player id sell cesc fabregas legs gone has no affect on games any more i no he got the winner saturday but we all must agree he's past it for a top level team.

magic, you say "morata has been a terrible replacement doesn't look like a premier league player"

Can you tell me how Icardi/ Insige/ Dybala look like premiership players?

no they might also fail like morata dihanio but if it was an option to swao for 1 of them in the summer id go for it . benzema kept morata out of the madrid team all season an benzema was terrible last year i never liked benzema it says it all we panicked an payed over the odds for a fella who couldbt get a start at madrid. i no teams have brought player dat didn't start off madrid before lile sneijder etc an done well but its hard to see morata imrpoving. hope im wrong.

Ed001, I can only repeat what others have said and thank you for your involvement on this page. Makes for a much better experience.

I'd be very interested in your view on Eusebio Di Francesco, who we've been linked to. I don't see him joining us, or leaving Roma at a but think he's good coach; did a great job at Sassuolo.

{Ed001's Note - Thank you very much J.

EDF does appear to be a very good coach, though he is another one who would need tactical help, as he showed against Liverpool that he can be out-thought. Anyone who has watched Liverpool play knows that there are two particular things that you don't do against them and he did both, and he did it purely because it worked against Barcelona. That to me is very similar to the way Conte operates, so I am not sure that there is much point in swapping one for the other, apart from freshening up relations between players and coaching staff.}

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, the only negativity I've seen around him is for his refusal to change tactics. It's definitely Conte's biggest downfall, and senior players have obviously pulled him up on it too.

Funnily enough EDF did switch things up for the second leg against Barca, which caught them by suprise. It'll be interesting to see how he approaches this second leg, although even the best coaches only have so many rabbits in their hats; and I can't see Liverpool not getting at least one away goal.

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed.}
