Hey ed , do you no how long sturridge is out for? Will we risk him for the next game, if mot is there any idea whos gonna be on the wing for that game? {Ed002's Note - I have no idea how long he may be out for but I would not be surprised to see Kalou start.}

Hey Ed: Why then lukaku is not giving the chance...he is young and he needs confidence...or some other youngstar {Ed002's Note - The coaching staff do not see him as being ready for the top level just yet. He will get some more appearances from the bench no doubt.}

Some of you are just as delusional as our dear manager is. If we want to Barcelona #2, then our dear owner should just have bought that club instead. On the other hand there is a petty red club up in north London, where they pretend to entertain for profit, with an illusion of eventual success on the horizon.

I don't get it frankly. We scored over a 100 goals in EPL in the first year of Ancelotti regime. Were we not entertaining, not offensive minded enough? I thought we were an amazing Chelsea team, playing to the top of everyones abilities.

Ok, some of our best ran out of steam. Had Torres worked out, the transition upfront would have gone smoothly. But why screw this all up and hand it to someone who hasn't ever done it himself, in the first place. Hiw do we expect him to be successful if he has no proof for it.

Porto without him is just as good as without him. Wheareas Chelsea is significsntly worse. On top of it - he is ruining the fundamentals of our team. I'm stuggling mightly to see someone ruining something i so dearly love. Hope the board stops this before it is too late.

So what do you suggest?

Spot on mate. They blame the players when the truth is that the manager does not inspire or command respect from the players. It is bloody obvious he is out of his depth and they stand back and watch him wrecking what we built the last 7 years. But sacking AVB is not enough. Some of the board need to pay for their lack of action and loyalty to the club that made them what they are.

Agree1 Disagree1

That is exactly what i meant, did not want to bother everyone with my suggested conclusions, but might as well do so.

Kenyon paid for Scolari. It is widely speculated that AVB was owners call. If it is so, then judging by the background, he really misses TSO.

I do not get why did we sack Ancelotti. Frankly - i don't. I assume he was brought to squeeze the max out of this generation of players and land the holy grail. Itbdid not work out to the max, but hey - aside from "ze difikalt moument" he was amazing, everyone loved him.

We bring this kid. No player background, no personality, no motivational skills, no man management idea. Error on error. We might let him grow into the job. But you all know, that it will not happen. If he stays this season and the are not challenging for the top spot adequatly - he's gone mid term. Why wait?

His ideas are illusions. It might have worked in Portugal, or the might Europa cup, but here - you have a problem whoever you face: a rivalry, a top club, a motivated newcomer, a physical organized bunch, whoever.

We win ugly in this country. We do. It is not possible the other way around it. We all enjoyed beating Sunderland 7-1. And were beaten 0-3 a few months later. That's how this league goes.

Summarizing. We won't see him grow into a top manager at this club. No patience for that. He's got more enemies then he'll ever have supporters in just half a season. Mourinho was critisized for being too vocal and attracting too much negative media attention. Never agreed with it. English media adored Mourinho. And still do. I guess the sports journos would forfeit their last paycheck just to see him back next season.

We are going nowhere with AVB. He's sick with his project. And we are a club with our beloved players, stadium, colors and heritage. We are not a project. We can't be next Barcelona. If our owner doesn't understand it, i would rather he sold CFC right away. We are a proud club and i want this mockery to stop right away.

Get those 'advisors' out in the first place. Hire a proper football CEO with interrnational recognition. Hire a proper head scout and not you dummy agent and bring a proven manager, whom all- players, supporters and owner would trust.

JG.

P.S. I could have just written. Bring back Mourinho and let him run the club. He is the special one. He'll win it all.

Once again, so what is your suggestion then? Also sign your posts so we no who we are talking to.

PB

Porto is just as good without him, JG get a grip and pay attention. Porto just got knocked out of Europa. With AVB they won it, first mistake you made. Do you know how Porto has been playing this year, because with AVB they were UNBEATEN and won EVERY game at home. I am starting to get the feeling your a bit of a sour puss JG. All you ever post is negative rubbish.

Melbourne CFC

Im not even going to respong to the tosh you just wrote JG. I have come head to head with posters such as Shed End but you can tell he loves the club and has actual realistic arguements about the teams direction.

PB

Personally i loved how we played against valencia,we countered superbly.havent seen us play that well since.we should give avb some time, dont get me wrong i was one of the first to post here saying avb should get the sack however after reading some pro and con arguments on here i decided that i shouldnt judge him too quickly.i agree to some of JG's points where are owner should review some of his advisors, cant just blame the coach and the players, the board should also take some of the blame.as for avb i just think he needs to take some risks once in a while and try new things

Melbourne CFC: you must know by now, that a league is a different thing to a cup. Porto are top of the league, wirh former assistant at the helm. And what if they hired a proper manager? Inam not saying that AVB is worthless and hasn't done a thing, he would not be here in the first place.

Agree1 Disagree0

And are they unbeaten? Are they still in the Europa? The league is very different to a cup, but to go an entire season unbeaten in a league or cup as your second year in charge of a team, after you managed to get a team struggling in the second division to promoted in 8 months. 'A proper manager' your a knob JG. You show how little you know with the arrogant rubbish you post. You showed what kind of supporter when you said We wont see him grow into a top manager at this club. No patience for that. I have no patience for you.

Melbourne CFC

Agree2 Disagree1

We won't see him grow into a top manager. I am not calling shots here, sir, just observing the clubs reaction to failures. Am i the only one? If he does not deliver, he will get a sack. Soon enough, i guess. And that is not because i do not have patience. That is because people upstairs do not.

I do not get, what you don't understqnd from what i am saying. He won't be given chance if it doeasn't pan out this year, or the next. If we do not finish top 4, he is gonna get sacked. He said it himself.

Why should i get to support him if the board doesn't go out give him backing? I don't hear mr. Buck or mr. Gourlay telling the fans to stick by our manager, like when they said he might be here for the next 15 years just last October. And what will you tell, when Gourlay fires him in "the corridor" in a few weeks time? Is it me and patience, which got him away from the club?

Come on. You are talking some stuff unrelated to me or my opinion, or do not even read it and put labels.

JG Quote- 'If our owner doesn't understand it, i would rather he sold CFC right away'.
JG if it wasn't for Roman our club would probably gone the way of Portsmouth years ago, instead he has given us some of our happier and more successful years. So for all the millions he has spent on our club i think we should give him back a little bit of faith, he's done okay so far.

I'm not saying we should only play on the counter , im just saying for a good bit of the game we will have to cause however poor Napoli may be in defense they could crush us in attack so we will likely be hemmed down and Ramires is possibly our best player when it comes to breaking quickly

Nova

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think playing counter attacking could suit us at the moment because we dont have the midfield to pass through teams, Mata excluded. And with the pace of Sturridge and Ramires and David Luiz's long balls. we could hurt teams if we draw them out, also I think Torres would score goals playing that system. But as for the Napoli game it may be too late for the counter attack as we need to score twice and Napoli will be happy to just sit back and pick us off.

Kenny.

Haha,Torres score goals eh,you ought to be writing fairy tales bud.

Whatever, you too stupid to write your own name.
