Have not posted for a while as I have been bemused by the same few people constantly moaning about this window and activity and more importantly, bothering the EDs with repeat questions and twitter led rubbish. I guess some are trolls but 2 or 3 are regular posters and their naivity is beyond bounds. Real shame that ED02 is taking a breather but I really do understand why. These guys give great information and deserve a bit of respect. That all said, the window for signing players opened today and with Maria, quite simply the best negotiator in the business, going to work I expect 5 or 6 great additions to our squad. We are the champions of England and in Roman and Antonio we have the best of the best. Glass full!

{Ed018's Note - well it's the same problem every summer. It's almost like some of these poster expect Ed002 to announce signings before Chelsea does}

Exactly ED018, You guys do a brilliant job and are the reason we come on here. Such a shame the same few ask daily questions about this player and that player and moan all the time as well.

{Ed018's Note - the thing is Ed002 let's us know where the interest is which is great. I can tell you right now he doesn't sit next to his computer waiting for the next story on Alex Sandro to pop up so he can answer questions about him and that's the problem. Some of the posters see stuff on websites and twitter and immediately send questions in. Ed002 doesn't know or care what's on twitter or posted on Sky or the Daily Mail. He lets all of you know where the interest is after that he can't predict what's gonna happen}

I totally understand that and like a lot on here fully respect that as well. ED02, yourself and ED01 give fantastic information and insight which we all appreciate. So sad that the few on here who post daily drivel and B/ S are spoiling it for everyone else. ED02 in particular is a fantastic insight into what is going on. Thanks ED018.

That's not the problem, although ed2 is normally very accurate, sometimes he gets things wrong and no one has a problem with that

It's the fact that people are put down if something is suggested. Someone asked a question yesterday and the response was just totally out of the blue. Just seems like ed2 can dish it out but can never take anything said against him. And that's coming from someone that respects him a lot.

If you guys can't figure it out then it'll be another slow summer on here. If you want to send in questions about the same players every single day then it is what it is.}

{Ed001's Note - the problem is that you only see half the story. You don't see the hundreds of repeat posts we wade through and delete each day. You don't have the frustration of having to read through them and see the abuse, like we do. Then we have some knobhead coming on saying it is our fault because one of us bites back.}

Thanks Ed001, I was going to send a similar point through. we only see published a fraction of the traffic the Ed's get sent (as has been clarified many times many times before) . To the less well initiated and of those posts that do get published, it appears they want instant updates even when there clearly haven't been any. I suppose this is indicative of today's want it now society.

Anyhow Ed's, keep up the good work. I enjoy reading the season reviews and love the Sharkopods when they get released.

I mean for me I stopped going out to watch footie in pubs and lost contact with a lot of people as all they would do is text constantly asking for info. I would assume Ed002 probably has the same issues. It has ended up with me mostly hanging round, in my freetime, with people that have no interest in footie, just so I can have a break from the constant questions!

To be honest, some of these trolls probably ain't even chelsea fans and even if they are, maybe they have bumped onto this site recently.

Long users of the site understand the effort and time the editors spend on here to keep us all up to date and answer all the countless questions about the same issues. Ed2 updated us about Sandro and said Chelsea are hopeful, however, it seems some just want him to announce the transfer on behalf of chelsea. Get a grip guys, appreciate that he tells us where the interest is.

Hi Ed. general transfer related question out of curiousity . what happens once a player get sold. does the entire amount gets available for the transfer kitty for reinvestment or a ratio of it. or the owners rack up some profits from the sale.

I think payment is in installements over a number of years the majority of the time. It's rare a fee particularly a large one is paid immediately and in full.

New jerseys are out they look Deadly but can someone explain to me the difference between the 'vapour match home' and 'stadium match home' apart from vapour being €65 dearer?

I think the stadium shirt is just a replica one like most football shirts are for fans. The vapour one has all of the special features found in the shirt that the actual players will wear so it's breathable and stretchier and stuff like that.
For the money I don't really see the point of buying the vapour one when the stadium shirt is fine for wearing and playing in.

Although I was against selling ake and traore, it might actually be the best way to utilise them in the future. They're both brilliant talents but need game time to develops and become better. They now have those opportunities to improve with first team football and it's now down to them whether they develope into great footballers or not. Kind of like Real Madrid and Morata, they wanted to keep him but he wanted game time so they sold him to juve. There he improved and Madrid noticed that and bought him back. Even though they want to sell him that's still like £40m profit. I think in the future if ake and traore are good enough for a starting 11 spot in our team then we could buy them back but if they are good but not amazing then we could buy them back and resell them for profit.
