If I was new Chelsea boss you guys n gals would love me. My targets would be, and they would be my targets nit the clubs or Abramovich's, with due respect ofcourse. 1.Nasri 2.Aguero 3.Sneijder 4. Sanchez 5. VDW 6. Bale. My outs would be, 1. Ferrera 2. Malouda 3. Kalou 4. Mikel.
Chelsea want a whole new style of football, these players mixed in with our more senior players would achieve this. Big squad for a good chance at acheiving a quady {Ed018's Note - you sure like Nasri, how many posts have you sent in regarding him now}

Ed, I'm worried about our lack of interest in proven world class players, utd are looking to sign players like sneijder and nasri, and we are paying over the odds for unproven players such as pastore, if man united can meet players such as Sneijder's wage demands surely we can too.I just wanted to ask why do the club seem to be unwilling to invest in proven world class players?thanks Ed. All these players were young and unprove once there may be a risk but when you see neymar already has international caps as does pastore playing in a top european league as does sanchez who played in the WC i beleive so they are not completley unproven

Believable0 Unbelievable7

This guy is right, why no attempt for Nasri??

Agree0 Disagree7

Why are you guys so crazy about Nasri? Guy had a good first half of the season without Cesc in the lineup and he basically disappeared late in the season like the rest of the Gunner squad.

Ed: Are there any European strikers worth pursuing in your opinion? {Ed002's Note - Sure.}

Believable10 Unbelievable0

What kind of post is that? of course there are plenty of top strikers 'worth' mentioning. perhaps if we bid for messi AND ronaldo that may meet your requirements

Now the pastore story is confusing, according to a roma player pastore wants to join roma, who thinks football is crazy. ed? {Ed018's Note - every summer is the same. every player is going to every team}

hi EDS. Can an agent ahve two roles? ie. Pini Z, seems to both be a player agent aswell as an negotiator for the Chelsea. Is this correctly understood? Thx {Ed002's Note - As long as there is no conflict of interest at all, he could do both.}

Okay, so these are the current homegrown players in the Chelsea squad.

John Terry,
Ross Turnbull (GK),
Ashley Cole,
Frank Lampard,
Josh McEachran,
Daniel Sturridge,
Patrick Van Aanholt,
Rhys Taylor (GK),
Jacob Mellis,
Sam Walker (GK),
Ben Gordon

These are the current homegrown players at Chelsea in the first team squad. I didn't include Bertrand & Cork because I imagine they will be sold? Kakuka will be homegrown in a year or so, but not yet.

Ed ..Do you know anything about a new ground development being planned in NW London?
There is a suitable plot of land albeit in a pretty run down area currently. {Ed002's Note - NW London, no. Earls Court was looked at back a couple of years ago.}

Will Chelsea move for Aguero if Neymar does not come? {Ed018's Note - possibly although Sanchez is preferred at this point}

Absolutely, Ed002 was wrong about Juventus bid because it was around 25mil eur. That's why Atletico de Madrid rejected it. Their president said they would rather sell him to Real for 38 mil eur than abroad for 25mil eur. Spanish and Italian press. {Ed018's Note - Real have not placed any bid for Sanchez so i have no idea what you are talking about}

I've just posted what AM president said to Spanish press.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

I didn't say Real put a bid just do not kill mes.

Agree9 Disagree0

I think that the poster was talking about Aguero, not Sanchez (in respect to Real Madrid bid for 38M euro). {Ed002's Note - All the poster seems to want to do is complain and bleat about me.}

ED could a possibility of getting around the financial restrictions be for example:
Chelsea are 100m in the red, so an outside investor suddenly puts 100m into the club.What I'm trying to say Is roman could transfer 100m from another business to Chelsea to balance the books. {Ed002's Note - No.}

To Ed002 Sorry Ed but there is always "the way".

{Ed002's Note - Please go and read the rules if you think this is a way around the regulations.}

Believable9 Unbelievable0

Sorry Ed but do You really think that any big club stick to regulations? You are abs.right but what happens in a real life is something diferent. {Ed002's Note - I don't understand your reason for continuing to bleat about this. I was asked a question which had a proposed means of getting around regulations. It was not viable and I said so. If you think it is a means to get around them, then fine. It simply shows your lack of understanding about them.}

HOMEGROWN

John Terry,
Ross Turnbull (GK),
Ashley Cole,
Frank Lampard,
Josh McEachran,
Daniel Sturridge,
Patrick Van Aanholt,
Rhys Taylor (GK),
Jacob Mellis,
Sam Walker (GK),
Slobodan Rajkovic,
Ben Gordon (GK)

These are the current homegrown players at Chelsea in the first team squad. I didn't include Bertrand & Cork because I imagine they will be sold? Kakuka & Delac (GK) will be homegrown in a couple of years, but not yet.

Sydney!

Rajkovic might get WP this summer, if it doesn't happen next summer he'll have Dutch passport so he'll be in Chelsea.

Believable0 Unbelievable10

Isn't Ben Gordon a left back?

Agree11 Disagree0

My bad, not too clued up on Chelsea like I am with other clubs. I think I might have got Rajkovic wrong too, Ed002 does he still qualify if he is loaned out to clubs outside our FA? Or is it fine as long as he is a registered Chelsea player?

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - No, loans only count if in England or Wales - and Mikel should be on the list I think.}

Agree0 Disagree8

Sydney! are you even a Chelsea supporter?

Ive only really seen little bits of Neymar, would you say he is a similar type of player to Robinho?. Im hoping the fact weve been tracking the lad for a long time will convince him to join us over Madrid. Lets wait and see
Huge bid for Javier Pastore, rumours of a gentlemens agreement between Chelsea and Man city (Chelsea will stay out of the Nasri negotiaitons if City pull out of the Pastore chase). {Ed018's Note - ive had the chance to neymar play quite a bit latley. he is good and if he can mentally handle the fact he is at a big club and develope from there, he will be alot better than Robinho. but he has got to make sure to not allow his ego, that he does have, get in the way

Neymar is much more second striker, Robinho is a winger.

not really about transfers but im in the US and i was wondering if you know what channel the copa america is on?
Thanks alot

Believable9 Unbelievable0

2011 CA is being broadcast on Univision, Galavision and Telefutura in Spanish language only. There is no English broadcasts in the US. ESPN wanted to bid for both English and Internet rights, but when they someone else was awarded the bid ESPN dropped out completely.

Spanish language online streaming will be Univision Deportes, but... Youtube will be streaming English language broadcasts of all matches. So if you don't understand Spanish, Youtube will be your only route.

As the foreign transfer Market has now opened is their any flourish of further ongoing discussions with players linked to the club, or is their some fresh scoping Ed002?...I further agree that you should be promoted to Ed007 because you really do shake n stir up things. {Ed018's Note - i didnt think there were promotions here.}

Believable0 Unbelievable10

I get the James Bond inference, but since when is going from 002 to 007 a promotion?

What formation is this line-up? are you have mentioned 12 players... i would assume 4-3-3 however none of the strikers are widemen.

Agree11 Disagree1

Guy posted 4-4-2 formation but you didn't recognized it.

Agree0 Disagree10

Aguero can play wide. I recall him burning us from the right side in the CL awhile back.

Agree10 Disagree0

Actually he posted a 4-2-1-2 (10 players) if you assume that the slash mark between 2 different players is an option for either one to play the position.

Agree10 Disagree0

I agree, it is 12 players mentioned, with 4 of the players being 'either' positions. Still not 4-4-2 in any case, but if you think playing with 10 men to start is wise, then thats your call.
