Just a couple of thoughts on our season so far and possible team for next season. Firstly I do not think we have actually got out of second gear all season but yet we still have a chance of winning league and also making semi final of champions league. The lack of a top quality striker has affected us badly, especially in the games we have lost as we had lots of chances but couldn't take them. Targets we are looking at according to the media, one of them being luke shaw. There is no doubt he is a top prospect but would cost the club upwards of £20m, when we have a player in azipilcueta who apart from hazard has been our outstanding player all season at LB. I don't think this summer the defence needs addressing as we also have zouma to join as well as ivanovic moving into centre if needed. David Luiz for me plays as a midfielder or needs to be sold to raise funds for a top forward. He is not good enough as a centre back in premiership due to him taking too many chances when last man. Also I know a lot would not agree but I wouldn't start Ramires as I don't think he brings enough to the team. You cannot just have a great engine but poor positioning and awfull passing and make the team. It's looking like lukaku maybe sold or according to media maybe swapped for Barkley, which I cannot see happening. If Barkley did come in I don't see where he would play as I wouldn't drop hazard, willan or oscar for him. Onto transfer targets I think possible outs:
Torres, Eto, ba, lukaku, mikel, luiz, marin, romeu and maybe Ramires.
Possible ins: falcao- shouldn't take a gamble after having a major injury. Could possibly turn out like Torres.
Diego Costa- brings strength, pace and great eye for goal but wants to fight the world when things are not going his way.
Cavani- For me should be no 1 choice as he has everything we are lacking with a great work rate to match.
With me saying Ramires not being good enough and Luiz possibly moving on, maybe as part of a deal for cavani I would like to see Toni Kroos playing alongside matic.That way we have a great physical player in matic and one of the best passes of the ball there is in Kroos. Maybe I been playing too much fifa but I don't see why two or even three of these players could be at the bridge next year. Also like to see a lot more of youngsters like courtois, piazon, baker, boga etc.

2 players we must must sell this summer.
Luiz: gets the ball and lofts it forward every time!
Torres: bringing the blue machine down with him. Can't wait for Eto to be back. Torres is a try's, but after 2 years now it's clear his lost it.

Hope we give Demba a chance tonight. Come on Chelsea
