This is the best thing I can think of as a short term solution. Get Higuain in and move Hazard back to the left where he's at his best and can go past defenders. Go to 4-2-3-1 we've got to try something. Kante back in a midfield two where he's best. CHO on the right because he's direct and Emerson as LB. I'd like to see Paredes come in I'm sorry I know most on here think Jorginho is Sarri's puppet but I don't rate him. I wouldn't mind seeing Ampadu as the two with Kante for protection and Hazard as the 10 but we've got to try something.
These won't happen because Sarri is too stubborn. But these would be my changes.

We need something different Ed. We have no creativity from midfield either. FEKIR is available we are crying out for a midfielder who can create and score from outside the box. It’s not a knee jerk reaction but we’ve lacked a midfielder with a brilliant shot for years.

Did we not start with Giroud because he's not fully fit? Otherwise we should have, don't like seeing Hazard as false number 9 though guess he won't have to play there again once Higuain arrives. Other problem is yet again Jorginho unable to find an incisive/ defence splitting pass forward, essential with small forwards, even if he fights hard in defensive pivot role.

Joginho is overrated period! . he’s lazy, a lot of misplaced passes game after game, he can’t play under pressure, can’t see a pass and all he does is back pass and side way passes. chelsea sarri needs to be bold and put alonso on the bench. the lad is just to slow but physically and in thought (it’s like he reboots whenever the ball gets to him) . And hazard has been so poor in the passed couple of games.

It's time to put the best defensive midfielder back in his natural position. I also reckon that if Hazard is asked to play as a false nine for much longer, he will welcome any Real Madrid bid with open arms and he will be off. Some posters are excusing Sarri by saying that he hasn't had time to bring his own choices in - if Jorghino is an example of his choices, then I don't hold out much hope for any improvement.

I will take my time and reflect on our performance before I make a detailed post.
Aside from Kepa NOT one player put in a performance that merits a positive comment.
Sarri will get pelters for lots of things and on this performance I couldn't argue with any negative comments.
Just one thing more lads. We are so predictable.

very frustrating tom an i apologise to all ye fans for posting any rubbish i might have but as of now we are miles away from ever challenging for a title again in my opinion. look at city an lfcs starting 11 and the debth they have. look at our squad its shockin. it really is a poor team. alonso isn't good enough jorginho offers nothing wev no cm offering is anything. our 2 wingers are bang average and hazard is wasted as a 9. on a positive note we signed pulisic. hopefully higiuan will bring us a few goals and the baord back sarri an he can build the squad that he wants. the board has signed some dreadfull players the last 5 years. the last time i got excited was when we signed fabregas and diego costa what was that 5 years ago?

Sarri does need to play Kante in his proper position and put subs on a lot quicker but I blame the board for not refreshing the squad very often, we seem to stick with players for far to long. Sarri does need another season with another transfer window to get the players he wants. Pep's first season wasn't exactly amazing. We know we need better players in some areas and a couple of strikers but maybe a positive will come from results like these, the board realising that we are dropping behind the top teams and splash the cash at the end of the season.

I rate Jorginho, yes he's having trouble adapting but that's expected. Far out guys give it a break. Okay so we sack Sarri, what next? Who do you suggest we bring in? We all want attacking football but we don't have the players to play it, it's as simple as that. Any manager that comes in will face the same problems and will need to go through the same transition phase that Sarri is having to go through currently.
I get the whole piece around not rotating but see it from Sarris POV he drops Willian, Alonso etc and watch the so called "senior" players throw their toys out of the pram and start undermining him, case in point was Conte with Willian.
We've been dictated by player power for far too long and unfortunately we don't have any leaders left in the squad to pull it back into line Ala Terry and Lampard. Sarri will get the players he wants and move on the players that don't fit his system until that happens reserve judgement, fact of the matter is we aren't the team we were 5-10 years ago and we are going through a transition phase which will take time, have faith!
