Best performance since December - totally controlled game - unlucky not to win by more.

Good performances from the much-maligned (often by me! ) Bakayoko and Moses - also Palmieri - and, of course, Kante.

I believe so much in their (Moses, Bakayoko and Palmieri) ability for next season. Well done to Moses.

Pedro running towards Burnley box and has Emerson wide. instead of playing it early and getting into area or staying on edge of area he runs towards Emerson and gets 5 yards away and passes to him. Emerson then has 1 target and his own player beside him. just seems clueless running and sums up our attacking play,

Typical Morata doesn't finish
Maybe a free kick on Moses not sure
Then I thought Bakayoko could have made much more of an effort to block the shot he walked past him
Other than that we've played alright and Emerson looks good so far.

Again we can't kill a easy game off and get punished.

I'm not so sure that Burnley away on a Thursday night can be considered an easy game these days - Burnley have taken points from all of the top 6.

Emerson knowing when to cross, when to take on and when to just play simple. Like him. Always available too. Busting a lung to gain 70 yards to help out atttack,

Tonight's team should hold no fears for Burnley; no Hazard or willian.

Without Hazard and Willian, the best performance of 2018 (although Hazard was superb when he came on) .

Ramsey is crap, he’s always been crap, he always will be crap, he has some good games but other than that he’s crap. Ask any arsenal fan - they say he’s crap. Why do all of you want him?

Contributed to more goals than most players in league, covers most ground and km’s anf has good pass and tackle on him, underrated player, I would imagine he would have more teams after him Than ozil did before he signed his new deal. Homegrown too.

Remember that West Ham fans thought that Frank Lampard was crap, called him Fat Frank, and laughed at us for paying £10m for him - didn't turn out too badly!

Why are we so afraid of bidding wars. We have the money just put a high enough bid for a quality player and improve our currency horrendous team.

It’s sad to see that we’re now targeting Doucoure, Torreira and Kondogbia amongst others. Miss the days when we were a big enough club to attract players like Vidal and.

Naingollan.

{Ed001's Note - Chelsea were never 'big' enough to attract Nainggolan, simply because he only wants to be in Rome and has had no interest in leaving there no matter who made offers or how much was offered.}

Hello Ed's and Fellow Blues,

I read an article this morning about who the future manager may be. The usual names of Allegri, Enrique and co were mentioned. The article stated Roman has allies suggesting the next big thing as opposed to a big name. A question/ opinion for the Ed's, has there been any movement if/ when Conte leaves who would replace him?

I'd like to see Pochettino (unrealistic) or Monaco's Jardim. Both work as coaches and use youth players. De Bruyne, Salah and Lukaku are examples of what could've been. Now there's Loftus-Cheek and Kenedy doing well on loan, I like others no doubt would like to see them given a chance in the team.

Who would the forum like to see appointed? I haven't posted in a while, but follow daily for my Ed fix.

Thanks to all the Ed's and members for the knowledge/ interesting reads.

{Ed001's Note - the club always has options ready mate. They have to be prepared just in case. They are readying it for the summer.}

Sarri seems the recent favourite with Enrique lingering but if we go for someone I would like Jardim with Morris as assistant. They both like vibrant football and could work well together. Ampadu, Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi should become regulars under them.
