To ED002 or ED001 in your OPINION how many players do you expect Chelsea to bring in the summer transfer window? {Ed002's Note - I am not getting involved in guessing games.}

Yea and plus how much money would we be sending along with Drogba. Probably to much for an injured player and a striker who Im not sure how he'd fit in our side.

Hey Ed, are Chelsea tracking young Mexican striker dubbed the new Chicharito Antonio Michael? {Ed002's Note - Not that I know of.}

Scott Parker. We had him once. He's available. English. Proven. Let's bring him back because the bridges haven't been burned. Do you think this is realistic Ed?? {Ed001's Note - not in the slightest, he has already shown once that he is not good enough for Chelsea.}

It seems to me that Chelsea are not giving to much away regarding transfer targets as whoever we are linked to, man city will just pay more and sadly money talks.They seem to be linked with every player we are interested in.Only time will tell who we buy, I just hope we add quality as well as youth.A lot of players never look interested so let them go
(malouda, kalou, anelka, bosingwa and a few others

Hey ed, do you know if we are interested in montolivo? He said he wants champions league football and skysports seems to think that he might move to chelsea. Safe {Ed002's Note - I don't know of any interest other than from Roma and, reportedly, Manchester City.}

Montolivo has already agred to move to Inter Milan.

I read that he wants a move to a chapions league team today! Why would he say that if he has already agread to go to one?

had this site been followed regularly by the ones in the Chelsea transfer decider:

a must offload list:
Kalou, Anelka, Mikel, Ferreira, Bosingwa, Zhirkov

advise to Manager (if the list is not offloaded):
don't regularly include (at least in crucial matches):
Anelka, Kalou, Mikel, Zhirkov, Ferreira.

and finally, please look for:

A good striker, search for a big name.
A brilliant left winger and a tactical attacking mid-fielder.
A good right difense.

any views ED?? {Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Think next euro wud be won by belgium. lukaku, de bruyne, hazard, boyota, fellani, kompany, defour are being touted as next big things. .

What has happened to english players. Henderson, rodwell, baines, joshua, mc carthy, are they bad?

Spain won wc and euro because they play their lads in top flight. There are some all spanish players clubs also. Barca have more spanish players than arsenal have english players. .

So english clubs shud and must sign young english talent next season.

As far as chelsea

Sign henderson, rodwell, cahill

As usual this summer Chelsea will be linked a host of players the vast majority of which will never arrive at the Bridge. Kaka, Aguero, Neymar? Forget them and most of the other high profile names being bandied about in the media, it'll never happen. City will have the pick of the best. Bank on maybe two players coming in, the identities of which I don't think even the club knows yet. Going out about five, the usual suspects already mentioned on these pages. All of which fills me with a sinking feeling of deja vu from last summer and a similar problem next season with a lack of depth on the bench. As for the coach. . again, I don't think even the club knows what to do and if and when they do decide on a change, who to bring in for that matter. Silence is golden at Chelsea these days which is grist to the mill for all those football hacks whipping up non-existent transfer stories. The fans are left to speculate on what Roman wants as he'll never let on. I don't think even the old KGB would be able to get him to talk! So Blues fans enjoy your summer break and ignore the hype. Believe it when it happens and even then. .

ED002, you and the rest of us football fans do know, that one our weaknesses this season was the lack of squad players, not the first 11, but the reliable hard working professionals like Ivanovic. I know everyone of us would like to see another one or two superstars at the club, but how about some proper squad players?

I would say we should try for N'Zogbia, Mark Noble, Scott Parker, Boateng of City, etc? Your opinion Ed? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea will certainly look at one or two players who meet the homegrown criteria such as James McCarthy. I really don't see a move for players of the age of Scott parker or folks like N'Zogbia who would want a regular start. Keep in mind the club could equally hang on to Cork and Mancienne to resolve that problem.}

Ed, what do you make of Sturridge so far? I think he's been awesome for Bolton an is guna be some player in the future. Managed correctly ofcourse, your thoughts?? {Ed001's Note - he has a bit of an attitude problem, I think he may have found his level to be honest. He is one of those players that needs to be the big fish, a bit like Scott Parker.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

So in your opinion the chances of him ever playing in a chelsea shirt again are very slim?

Agree0 Disagree0

Think its a bit unfair to say he's found his level, how old is he 21/22?, i'd love see him have a decent run, young, english, hungry, knows where the back of the net is, would be refreshing to see that type of player in the team for once
