At Blackburn watching the FA Youth Cup Semi and Dujon Sterling looks a fantastic talent. Just 16 years old as well. We have a conveyor belt of talent coming through and just hope a few make it. For me, Nathan Ake must come back next season along with Charley Musunda and Andreas Christensen. Possibly Lewis Baker as well. Apart from them I'm not sure? Maybe Dom Solanke who has been injured recently. Ruben deserves a run now and with Hazard out for a month or so give Kenedy his place rather than Oscar or Pedro. 9 games left this season and very little chance of Europa next season let's take the opportunity to see if these guys have it in them to make the step up.

I saw the game and we look so much better than all the teams we play and are dong well again in the European competition but for many their career is youth football as they do not develop physically or in some cases mentally. Those however that do like those you mention should have been loaned to Championship or where possible Premiership clubs as the level of strong competition in the countries they go to is lacking. I would like to see Ake and Christensen back and possibly Solanke and along with Loftus -Cheek be part of the first team set-up. However, on the assumption that Conte is the man and a man with his own ideas, they will have to work with Chelsea's transfer policy of which he will have a say but probably not the final one and that could mean more youngsters head for the door. To date I do not think we have had a hard and fast plan for development a sit has been overshadowed by the business side.

Hello Eds and fellow posters. Just a quick question. With us being linked to a lot of Conte's current/ former players and many based in Italy, do you think Conte will actually go about his summer business this way? Obviously I wouldn't expect him to only target/ sign former players or Serie A players but I was just wondering! Many thanks guys.

Cheers mate. Hopefully it will be a good summer nonetheless, we definitely need one! Think Conte is definitely a good appointment though, liked him very much since his unbeaten season with Juve!

Watching Juan Mata play for United, he's now a shadow of the influential player he was for us. Sad really.

He's the only midfielder they've got who's any good so there's a lot of pressure on him. I'd have him back tomorrow!

I know it's a lot to ask and appreciate that time is a limited comodity but I read a fantastic write up by Yourself on one of Our rival clubs pages about the way the Club does it's transfer business and a number of players they have/ are looking at including where they might be better looking.
I am genuinely fascinated about how things work behind the scenes at Chelsea FC especialy the direction the Club will be taking now with regards Philosophy, Recruitment and Youth Development etc.
I remember You saying that it wasnt something that You wanted to discuss at this time a while back but would really love to read any info You can and would be willing to provide.
