Reportedly Luka Modric is close to agreeing a move to Spain (this is according to Slaven Bilic)
Personally I'd be massively dissapointed if he didn't join us this summer!
Last year he said he wants to stay in London as his family is settled etc etc, does anyone else think we should go for him again and pull out all the stops to get him? For me he's an ideal replacement for Frank (not that Frank should go!)

He is a fantastic player and this goes without saying, however I just feel that he wouldn't have a place in the team with the players we have already signed this transfer window.. Really now the only position in midfield I believe we should look at would be a DM holding role (Although I personally feel that given time Essien can regain form and be that player, it just depends on whether he's given the chances) or (Maybe) a Right midfielder, but Ramires was played there a lot last season and I think he did a fantastic job!

Moses would be a squad player of course, but Robbie is a manager who trusts youth and has so far done a good job at Chelsea of grounding the youth, AVB played romeu and sturridge a lot and they weren't doing it for us and he changed it brilliantly. Also to play Bertrand in a champs league final was a massive decision! If Robbie thinks Moses is good enough for us then in Robbie we trust!

I am a spurs fan and heard that Chelsea are back in for modric now that Harry has gone I hope this isn't true but feel it strongly depends on who takes the job COYS!!

Hey Ed. i just saw Premier League fixtures 2012/13 fixtures has been released and they're all being played at the same time? it would really suck to miss so many games :/

Not sure whether I have got the wrong end of the stick for this question, but they all say they are at the same time because Sky haven't decided which games will be shown yet. The fixtures will stay the same but some will be on a Sunday and Monday etc...

if torres keeps starting and like 4 years ago gets the winner in the final he will have a huge confidence boost and score for fun next year (with 2 hat tricks against liverpool too :D )

Having watched Josh McEachran's career progress I've become more and more excited about his prospects and see him as an integral part of the future of our club. Just wondered what everyone else thought on him? Maybe some who know more and have seen him play more than I have, would love to hear from Ed002 aswell but I know you don't like giving your opinions due to the grief it can cause. Any chance of maybe getting a player profile on him Ed022? Thanks.

He will be good, he needs to bulk up a bit. hes an amazing passer of the ball, makes space for himself always looking to recieve the ball. just want him to attack a bit more. i was glad when ancelotti went cuz he started playing him in holding mid.

Walcott is more of a team player but scores less goals, both have good pace but 9 times out of ten poor end product!
