Does anybody wonder, "who's going. to mount the right side of our attacking trio in big matches, since Hazard & Shurrulle play better on the left side better, we need someone who can dominate the right hand side A??d?? cause problem (s) to our opponent there (which was missing in last season)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

De bruyne is two footed.

Agree0 Disagree0

KDB, or Schurlle if Hazard's on the left flank. Injurys and when we're desperate - Moses.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be surprised if Mata has a few games on the right and Oscar or De Bryne in the middle.

Agree0 Disagree0

All 3 Tend to float between all positions anyway, all our Attacking Mids like the no 10 role and are good out on the wings

Agree0 Disagree0

Was reading an article the other day and mourinho was talking about formations. He stated he likes to play with 'wrong footed wingers' (right footer on left wing etc) and then goes on to state mata is our only left footed attacker. I think this goes some way in suggesting mata will play a fair bit on the right - and hopefully that there's no plans to get rid if him.

AK

Agree0 Disagree0

Oscar is better in the middle for me. Play Mata right sided and Hazard left with all 3 rotating at times would be my preference.

Add in De Bryne and Schurrle as options in all 3 positions and were sorted for AMs.

Id quite like to see Oscar play deeper as well (a role which KDB can also play). Oscar with Ramires, V. Ginkle or a more defensive Minded player (Luiz, or anyone we aquire for that spot) depending on who were playing (lets face it we shouldn't need a dedicated Def Mid for a lot of matches) with 3 from the other 4 ahead of them.

Alot of chelsea fans saying roomey should hand in a request to force a move. United have said he ain't for
Sale and aren't afraid to run his contract down.

as a united fan I would love him to be sold as imo he has had 9 great years at our club and cannot see him improving anymore.

Hes lazy fat at can't handle the pace of the game.

So hopefully use bid more than the 23 million that was pht forward. Maybe 28 and ild drive rooney down to use.

Anyway good look on the coming season looking forward to facing jose again.

Please my JOSE make another bid for rooney as us united fans do not want him.

Hes overweight, slow and his first touch has gone.

A cry baby that moans about not playing when if he was actually performing good and trained properly maybe would have had more
Games along side the top goalscorer RVP.

at least when rooney goes and hopwfully to your lot hernandez will get more games.

Peace.

Yeah Hernandez will get lots of games when we buy Rooney and RVP gets injured again, and he will.

Hasslebank wasn't the slimmest of players to say the least, and he was something else!

Chelsea issue refunds to fans in Indonesia.

"We were made aware today that a number of people were being charged a fee for access to certain non-match day events during our stay in Jakarta. "

"While we understand this is accepted practice in Indonesia, it does not fit with our tour philosophy of 'Here to Play, Here to Stay' which works towards leaving a lasting legacy in countries and communities we visit. Therefore, anyone who bought a ticket for one of these events will be refunded, and granted ticketed access for free. "

apparently some fan were charged up to £1500 for an free event.

I like this.

Anyone of eds got anything new on Rooney do you think he will have to put another transfer request in to force uniteds hand or do you think they will agree something. United go on about being such a big club and know ones bigger than the club, why they trying to keep a player that quite clearly doesn't want to be there

It says a great deal about his failure at the club that Torres committing his future to the Blues is not seen as an assurance but a threat

My main issue with Rooney isn't that he's 'crap', as evidently he's a good striker, but that he looks to have an issue with being left on the bench. This would mean we either don't rotate him with Lukaku much (and I have been led to believe that giving Lukaku plenty of game time was a priority this season) or run the risk of Rooney kicking off when we do leave him on the bench to give Lukaku (or, dare I say it, even Torres) a run out. Maybe Mourinho can alter his attitude, maybe the stories of him sulking about being dropped are false but I would hate for Rooney's petulance to unbalance what looks to be a very successful season.

NUFC fan here. I'm not sure if there are any rumours surrounding him, but I saw Juan Mata on Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona on Monday. At first I thought he must just be on holiday, but then I pondered why he'd still be on holiday when surely the squad is training by now? Maybe he has an extended holiday due to the Confederations Cup? Or is he on his way out? {Ed018's Note - has is still on leave}

Need Rooney to put a transfer request in just to help matters

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It would force Man United to back down.

With Mourinho saying that it's Rooney or bust, do you think he was just referring to strikers, or does that mean we are no longer pursuing players like De Rossi and Bruma?

Thanks.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I took it to mean strikers only.

Jose said yesterday rooney is chelseas only transfer target at the moment

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Jul 2013 06:55:08
I'm hearing JM has stated that the only target at this time is Rooney. No DM (don't think we need one to be honest) no CB or other Defender (again don't need one, though I thought the defence was a bit ropey last season). So culling the squad down, get rid of Ba, Moses, who else? Interested to hear opinions. Good game last night in Bangkok. More of a training game but good all the same.

Torres, Mikel need to go. Replaced with Rooney/De Rossi.

Piazon loaned

Possibly Moses and Ba to be sold as well. If we sell All 4 (unlikely) we should about break even on wages and fees for De Rossi and Rooney whilst greatly increasing quality of squad/first team.

Ed 018 how is Monaco able to spend apprx 160Mil on 4 players allready with no concern for FFP? PSG following along same lines yet top British clubs claim to be concern and want to abide, just seems unfair playing fields and FFP a joke at this rate? Please explain.

Eric CFC! {Ed018's Note - Ed02 posted a huge write up on the FFP a few months back. Search the site for it.}
