Haven't seen game or highlights but from what I'm reading on many different sites etc is that Romeu was outstanding, done everything he was there to do, win ball.. Simple pass, stop any Attacks and start one for us, soak up any pressure by holding ball simple passes. So so pleased, think against Newcastle should be Romeu holding mid with mereiles ramires and mata playing behind torres and sturridge,

I totally agree ,, we should play a 4-3-1-2 like milan as we are poor on wings. Sturridge is a goalscorer and is limited now on the right flank also mata can perform better as a playmaker. I see lampard as a benchwarmer for the coming games, he is good but we need energy in midfield and he lacks so at the moment

Torres on the bench again is bulls**t, fed up if this, then when he plays get slate for not doing well, prib not match fit and confidence smashed to bits,

Drogba was anonymous; very poor. The first half without Lampard was full of pace and energy. The team moved the ball very quickly and directly. He came on in the second half and it all slowed right down; sideways and backwards as usual!! Romeu was outstanding!

Reading the match report Drogba was pretty anoymous today again. Give Torres a run of games to build confidence and I think he'll do the business for us. Drogba has been on the last 3 and has not taken the chance. he is a legend at the club but time has come for the change.

Totally agree mate we must start Torres everygame. Would be a great chance for him to grab a couple of goals. However happy to see Mikel and Malouda not starting

Firstly John Terry needs outing 8mill plus take it, Then out Mikel, Boswinga, Malouda, Kalou, Drogba, then start using Mceachran....Buy Cahill Ganso + a inventive tricky winger....then Torres and Mata will come to life, Take notice Boas coz your on borrowed time and i fear by the time the window opens you will be long gone, not all your fault but when you keep forgetting to select a 50mill striker the chairman Mr A. is not gonna like seeing his cash sitting there!!!

Mata plays as a left and ringer winger as well as in the hole. thats the beauty of him. someone to play on the right side would be good because bos cant cross and needs someone there to take away some of his bursting runs that get no result. let AVB keep this team this year. In january he will make alot of big moves and try and offload the deadwood. Torres needs to get more time, although i personally thought drogba played decently

I think we shud get a left and right winger play mata in the hole

Totally agree. Give the man a real chance. He has assessed the team and will do alot of work in the january transfer window. this man is a football genius, although in the past some of his subs have been very surprising. let him get to january and we will strengthen 10 fold. you all are talking like we cant win against newcastle, man city and tottenham. if we win those three games all of a sudden we are right back in the title race. in AVB We Trust.

we keep being linked with all these players, but the bottom line is we need to remove alot of dead wood, i know alot of chels fans wont agree but the first to go must be Terry hes had it, if sum 1 offers in excess of 8mill take it, then get rid of ...wait for it...Kalou-less, malouda, drogba, mikel (please) boswinga. Then get in the market for Gary Cahill, Van der wiel, De Bruyne, Ganso and also start using Josh Machaechran or we will end up losing him.....

Maybe if you could spell "Mceachran" more people would listen.

And the only way I could see us signing Cahill would be to play alongside JT, like the England Partnership.

Celtic fan here guys. I've been reading and hearing all this stuff about AVB being under intense pressure (similar to our manager) and just wanted to know if this was the Chelsea fans feelings or if its just paper talk. From a neutral point of view I think he is a terrific manager who has inherited an ageing squad but if he is given time then I think he will be extremely successful. Whether or not Abramovic gives him the time is another issue.

If the rumours are true we will be trying to sign Higuein, Pato, Cahill and De Bruyne this window, with Kaka being offered to us for around £30 million. Ed do you think 3 out of the 5 are definitely possible? {Ed002's Note - I can't play such games, sorry.}
