What a shambles on all fronts - with a few exceptions (eg Willian again, Caballero, perhaps Ampadu and Kennedy), most of our players didn't look much up for it or were in headless chicken mode much the time (Pedro a speedy one! ) . The ref dreadful, not using VAR. And we lose two players to red cards and they will be missing for Brighton away game - and I'm going to it. and fear the worst!

We didn’t play well. The subs were bizarre. We’re going to be without Morata and Pedro for a few games but the biggest thing I took from the game was that VAR is beyond a joke. The FA will be shaking their heads after what had been a promising start for VAR up until now.
Slightly unrelated note if any of the Ed’s know: would Chelsea be able to contest Morata’s first yellow? Not that they will but was wondering if it’d be possible?

I am a big fan of Morata but his confidence is shot but more importantly he is complaining after every tackle and hitting the ground needlessly and at the moment I see signs of Torres. He is clerly not used to defenders on him straight away and he will either have to adjust or he is going to get less game time if we spend in the summer. Norwich played well albeit we let them and our performance was shocking with many of the first team shown by Amapadu who, who looked very mature for a young kid. Matt Martin summed up Willian nicely, he has everything we need and everything we do not, the downside being he slows play down at the wrong time and has no end product, goals.

That ref is useless not that’s any excuse we’ve been bloody awful only a few players have done themselves justice.

Problem seems to be chelsea don’t wanna spend mega money ( mbappes dembeles susrez Lewandowski ) type fee’s so have to go for players who are available and want to leave current club.

75 mil for a player with two left feet. Aubameyang is a one of the best strikers in the world, stats don’t lie.
