Terrible performance,awfull substitutions.Our thre most influential players this season brought off.Players trying to waste time even though there is 30 minutes left to play against a team what will probably go down this season.What a joke.We keep blaming the lack of creativity in midfield,when I think we need a world class striker.Torres is not going to rediscover his form if he's not even getting on in games.I do not believe we are building for the future because if we were the likes of drogba,lampard,Terry,bosingwa would not be getting a start.
Did any one expect Sturridge to be our best player thus season,because I never.So let's give Torres,Josh a start look at romeu another excellent player who is hungry for football.To much dead wood,we will be lucky if we get champions league football next year.We are missing at least 5 players and cannot go on making excuses.I would like us to invest in quality players in January.
Hazard,sneijder,would be great additions.

Chelsea need to get rid of Drogba , Lamps , Terry , cole not that they are past it but as personality they undermine the new boss , great servants to club but to move forward a clean slate is truly needed so many managers same old players

3 things AVB did wrong today:
1) Starting XI: Changed it from the last 3 wins and took away some of the pace and vision in the middle of the park. In my own opinion, the team should of been as follows:
Cech
Bosingwa Luiz Terry Cole
Romeu
Ramires Mereiles
Sturridge Torres Mata

2) Tactics: Slacked off after goal, lost all creativity and failed to address Moses skill and pace which punished us later.
3) Substitutions: Took off Romeu for Kalouless which exposed the back four, before taking off the main creative options of Mata and Sturridge replacing them with Obi Mikel who is simply not good enough for EPL and Malouda who looked disinterested. All the while Ramires and Torres sat twiddling thumbs when they would have both made a major difference tonight.
January buys are a necessity in my opinion, heres my ideal wishlist:
(Any two of) CB: G.Cahill, N.Subotic, D.Godin, C.Samba, M.Hummels, A. Rami
(1 of) RB/RWB: Azplicueta, G. Van Der Wiel.
(1/2 of) CAM/CM M.Goetze, PH.Ganso, C.Ericksen, N.Gaitan, S.Kagawa
(1 of)RW/LW: E.Hazard, D.Hoillet, M.Krasic, V.Moses, Pedro
(1/2 of) STR/CF: G. Higuain, E.Cavani, Neymar, A.Pato
Obviously won't all happen in January but, I feel we need all that to be dominant again.

Fair play to Drogba for the return of 'form' previously, but for so long(over the years) he has been trying to do too much as an individual and keeps losing the ball, instead playing the simple pass! Torres HAS to be given game time, or come jan when Africans Cup comes along, the poor bloke is gonna be thrown in, not match fit, and get slaughtered if things don't go for him! Also, how many times will AVB bring on Mikel when we're winning, and end up conceding cos we become too negative!! BEST FORM OF DEFENCE IS TO ATTACK!!
So why does he keep doing this?

We got exactly what we deserved. Drogba was terrible all day. Went about as if he was on a Sunday stroll. Absolutely no effort. Torres must be really bad if he's not getting on in front off that. Mata off for Mikel. Sturridge off. What is AVB at. As I posted earlier those victories in the last 3 were only painting over the cracks and we are pretty poor. Couldn't even beat a bottom 3 team. They thought they just had to turn up and this is an indictment on the manager. He is the coach and the team are playing his way.

My quetion is what has Drogba done to consistently warrant his selection and keeping Torres off? He had a stellar game against Valencia and litteraly that is it. His effort is appalling at times. How many times can he live off that performance. I feel awful for Torres because avb is making him into a media rag doll. {Ed002's Note - Torres has been performing poorly. Drogba has been performing better.}

Ed002. Drogba playing better. hard to see that. Torres hasn't been given any chance really since his sending off. 5 mins here and there. At least he might run about and put a bit of effort in which is all us fans want, put in a shift. Drogba hasn't. {Ed002's Note - Fine.}

Other than drogba performance against Valencia he hasn't been that good.

already getting frustrated with Meireles after 10 minutes. I think he's been great so far this season but from what i've seen so far i would love to see josh mceachran come on with plenty of time in a game like this. Dont get me wrong, im still a fan of Merireles but i do get quite frustrated at players quite easily!
