Being linked with a soon to be 31 year old who in last 3 seasons goals have dropped by around 8/ 9, and only got 16 last year in Juve side, playing almost every game, rumoured €60m, it’s a worry being linked to him just in case we genuinely in for him.

Everyone’s point is valid however he clearly stated this transfer window (btw, money that hasn’t even been spent yet) . You can only judge in hindsight. Matt has a traditionally gloomy outlook on things :)

Matt Law who, as journalists go, is pretty reliable when it comes to Chelsea news penned a good article about Hazard having to force through a move if he want to go to Madrid this summer.
Apparently he had till the end of April to notify the club that he wants to leave and didn't, Chelsea now see it as too late in the window to find a replacement for him.
Should Hazard push for a move then, given how late in the window it is to try and sign another player, I would expect Chelsea to demand a player coming in the opposite direction, Isco and Asensio are the two players Chelsea should consider.

No, the sharkopod was only intended to cover Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Man Utd. Because of past issues, Chelsea updates are scarce.

It's very rare that Ed002 reveals Chelsea info because of the idiots that drove him away! Lucky he still gives us anything to be honest! I always look out for his comments on other pages when using the term an "unnamed English side" and hope for the best haha.

It was Mount and van Ginkel in exchange for Lozano. not sure if any money was involved however van Ginkel’s injury put paid to that and Lozano’s value is only going one way tbh. I’m happy that Mount didn’t (isn’t? ) leaving permanently.

Lots of reports claiming Higuain will sign for us this week.
I know we're not overly excited about this deal if it does happen, but last season we were crying out for a goal scorer pure and simple to just put the ball in the net. And Higuain will do that given a chance.
He might not be the youngest or most mobile, but he's always scored goals. And Sarri clearly loves him. So I don't think it would be a terrible deal at the end of the day.

Alfredo Pedulla is saying that the deal that could be imminent is Rugani; and Chelsea might go higher a bit to £40m to get it wrapped up quickly. Looks like players that are used to Sarri's system are favoured to come in cos time is not our friend. Higuain is use to his system but isn't top priority at the moment though.

obinna 123, the thing that I'm happy about is that we're actually trying to get deals done for players that Sarri clearly likes/ wants. He's managed Rugani previously also.

It's a good thing that Chelsea is now doing what you said. I would be happier though if both Sarri and Chelsea agree on young players (less than 27 years).
