hi ed, how free transfer happen? {Ed002's Note - When a club know that a player cannot be easily sold and they have no use for the player they may offer to let him find a new club without a transfer fee being paid. Sometimes to recognise loyalty and to allow a player to get a signing on fee from their new club, they might let a player leave for free.}

will lampard be featuring often next season or will he be a sub?

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Will people stop asking these kind of questions, they are impossible to answer as the only people that can really decide that is avb and lamps (by how he plays).

Agree9 Disagree1

Dumb question. Are you the same genius who asked how many minutes Sturridge would feature this season? Do you just like seeing your remarks posted on a internet page?

Agree8 Disagree1

If he's good enough he will play and in my opinion he's is good enough

Watching Chelsea vs portsmouth on Chelsea tv that boring I fell asleep

Believable13 Unbelievable1

I must have accidentally turned off my alarm during the night and slept right through the match. Woke up to find that I didn't miss anything haha

Agree10 Disagree0

Me2, still no change in the style of our play, Lampard still slow as ever and can't create for s**t. I suppose the only half decent thing I could see was how good McEachran looked.

Agree6 Disagree0

Mcearchan all the way but still play lamps with him

Sky bet has Aguero 1/4 to join Manchester City, while we are major outsiders at a big 16/1. Although this is not a 100% reliable and bookmakers odds can change in a instant, but it would seem that we are not really in the race. Suppose we will just have to wait and see. Roll on August 31st

why doesnt abramovic just sponser the team himself? he could have "roman" across the shirts and pay them whatever in sponsor money, getting round the financial fair play {Ed002's Note - No, that is not how it works.}

Believable1 Unbelievable9

Lol not the first time I've heard someone try to suggest this...

Agree8 Disagree0

Could one of Abramovich's billionaire pals sponsor Chelsea via there company? Would this be allowed within the rules of FFP Ed?

Would this not be similar to what Man City have done?

Thanks in advance Ed {Ed002's Note - No - this is not a loophole in the fair play rules. I don't understand why you are even thinking about this.}

Agree0 Disagree8

They will find a loophole, "the abramovic arena" 200m a year sponsor, abramovic boots, abramovic "your fired" t-shirts ;-))) {Ed002's Note - You need to read the rules.}

Agree0 Disagree8

Always a loophole in these sort of things. Say for example Samsung were to buy naming rights to Stamford Bridge. 10 year deal worth somewhere like 100mill, few payments by Roman to Samsung and the deal would suddenly be worth 200 mill over 10 years. Im not saying that is the way to do it, but the most powerful clubs have the option to deal with the most powerful lawyers and thier are always loopholes to be exploited. {Ed002's Note - Go and read the regulations - this loophole does not exist.}

Agree0 Disagree8

Do u know much about city and the new etihad stadium, how can that happen. surely that is on of mansour's buisnesses {Ed002's Note - But it does not count within the FFP ruling. The regulations are very clear. Pehaps you should make the effort to read them.}

Agree0 Disagree8

Any Sponsorship deal with a party related to the clubs owners has to pass a "fair value" test. The governing body have said they will use benchmarking exercises and specialists in the field to determine whether sponsorship and naming-rights deals are above their true market value. If it is deemed that they are, the excess must be deducted from break-even calculations.
Well put it this way if Uefa do nothing to stop the Etihad sponsorhip of City then expect the Fair play rules to be nothing more than a mockery

Agree9 Disagree0

Sheesh what point is the OP trying to prove again and again - that he is completely devoid of intelligence?

Read the friggin' rules

chelsea in for jenas and reo coker? please ed tell me this is a wind up? {Ed002's Note - I imagine it is.}

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Did you even look at the source of those stories? Daily Star - Daily Mail... that should say enough. Please tell me that you don't believe everything that you see in the tabloids?

Agree9 Disagree0

I did say it was in the star, but that wasnt posted.

im sorry i didnt realise everyone posts FACTUAL rumours on here :-)))))

Agree0 Disagree9

Well, if you post drivel you're going to get slagged.

what are you talkin about (please get lampard outa there)Last year was the first year in a long time he didnt get his 20 goals, and that was due to injury. Hopefully with a bit of luck next year he can stay fit and you can eat your words.

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Hopefully with a bit of luck you'll post your reply correctly so people will know what your talking about.

I guess you're of the theory that people never age nor slow down. Accept fact - these guys aren't getting any younger. Even Ryan Giggs isn't the player he used to be.

Agree11 Disagree2

Fair enough we'll see, but giggs was one of utd's best players last year and won player of the year at 36 i think. lamps has 4 yrs on him

Agree0 Disagree9

Well that's not a good endorsement of Lamps if a man 4 years his senior plays better than him is it?

And Giggs was NOT Man Utd's best player last season...
