Cannot believe that disgusted
Our signings are pathetic who makes these decisions we don't seem to have a vision of what to do next.
I cannot for the life of me see what Carrol brings to the club are we going to play like Wimbledon 2 strikers up front and long ball it up to them because there good in the air we will be a laughing stock.
I don't see why we don't sign Phil jagielka Jonathan Walters Charlie Adam and Peter crouch to go with it.
That will definitely scare the crap out of Barca
Ffing fuming.

With Carrol being considered my hi-ball glass is definitely half full.

Peter crouch? Seems like a good idea actually. He's young, English and can score with his head.

Sign him up roman!

{Ed0333's Note - Crouch has a better goal celebration than Andy Carroll.

17 Jan 2018 07:39:27
Carroll doesn’t score enough to have to worry about a celebration,

{Ed001's Note - which is lucky as he once missed 9 months out after falling off a bar stool drunk, I dread to think how long he would be out for if he tried a knee slide!}

17 Jan 2018 09:33:55
Don’t joke please ed001.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I was being serious, when Liverpool signed him he was out injured after he fell off a bar stool drunk. Yet Comolli still thought he was the right choice!}

17 Jan 2018 11:24:06
Comolli also said Sissoko at Spurs would become as good as Steven Gerrard! He is obviously a stand up comedian disguised as an agent/ scout (whatever he does)

No Commolli is good at what he does.

Positives just keep coming, heard he's a funny bloke, also.

Conte says not in for Sanchez and Barkley cannot play as not registered in time, this week goes from frustrating to really fu**ing frustrating. Was buzzing to see Barkley,

Even if we were after him why would he consider it when there is no guarantee the manager will be there next year.

Whether we like it or not, it looks like we are genuinely making a move for Andy Carroll.

I'd much have preferred us to have made a move for Vardy, simply because he offers something completely different to what we already have.

Carroll is an Injury prone, one dimensional player, capable of a few good games a season.

Obviously if we do complete the signing I'll be fully behind Carroll, as with any player we sign.

Our standards have seriously dropped in the past few years though. A few years ago we would have laughed if we knew our team would include Carroll and Drinkwater (with all due respect to those players) .

Lets just hope we can manage a top four finish this season, otherwise Hazard and Courtois could well both be off in the summer.

With all that being said, we still have a very good young squad (Musonda, Christensen, Ampadu to name but a few)

So the future is not all doom and gloom, and as we all know big names do not always mean success.

So let's all get behind the team for the rest of the season, because you just never know what can happen in football. C'mon Chelsea!

Tbh I have been hearing musonda hype for so long now. He has to first be given a chance before he retires lol.

It wasn't too long ago that Mourinho's summer signings included Steve Sidwell, Tal Ben Haim and Claudio Pizarro (2007), and we signed Michael Hector, Papy Djilobodji and Matt Miazga in 2016. The point I'm making is that this is nothing new - we really need to sort out our transfer policy.

I know it's not ideal, but if we're raiding west ham, I'd go for Hernandez over Carroll.

Realistically we won’t get Sanchez or aubameyang or probably Sandro, at least go for Leon Bailey.

Now there’s a player.

Looking like Sanchez to United almost complete now mkhitaryan agreed to join. chelsea falling further behind rivals. Arsenal will be next with aubameyang.

Ok. question for a debate, apparently only thing holding up Sanchez deal is mkhitaryan not wanting to join arsenal. so my question is would any of you guys be happy to get Sanchez and his high wages at 29yrs old but world class if it included mushonda in the deal as a swap., a player arsenal have been very keen on previously, not saying this is true or would happen but discuss.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

16 Jan 2018 11:00:29
No I wouldn’t because with our track record would probably come to bite us in the back side and I rate Musonda highly so hoping he gets the chance with us.

The player the Arse would want is Luiz - a totally different question.

Agree0 Disagree0

16 Jan 2018 13:23:57
Considering how little he's playing, giving Luiz away should be a no-brainer! Don't forget that we've got Zouma playing well in Stoke and coming back soon ;)

If the cost of the stadium is at £1bn then we (the fans) needs to brace up cos things will drastically change at Chelsea for the time-being cos it is expedient that the club will seriously cut costs- which will reduce their spending power in transfers.

God help we don't suffer what Arsenal did when the Emirates Stadium was under construction.

We’ve got a fantastic youth team obinna maybe this is the only way we’ll get to see them and if they’re are good enough like we all hope and believe.

The difference is that the Arse is not owned by a multi-billionaire - and the eufa financial regulations do not include capital expenditure.

Miss Darren Wood, Arsenal’s owners combined wealth is higher than Abramovich’s.
