Although i do not buy the rag,i read an article by Steven Howard(he hates Chelsea) in the current bun today.
It he he bemoans that although Chelsea have invested Millions into the academy, apart from Josh Mceachran they have produced no one for the first team since JT.
Now although i really do not like this West Ham loving sports writer he has on this occasion got a point.
We are searching the world for everyone elses young talent,why cant we produce our own?

Hutchinson would of 100% been our first team right back if not for the injury, Chalobah and Bertrand are very close, wouldnt worry about it too much mate i watch a lot of the reserves theres some real quality coming through, i can see us having 4 or 5 acadamy/reserve players in the first team in 4 or 5 years, its not like we're losing money on it due to sales from the likes of mancienne who are just not quite our quality.

Chaps ,i am not trying to disrespect the set up.I have a life long friend working at Cobham.I am just asking the question.Because i know from talking to people on the inside a lot of money has been spent for a few years now.Liam i think we may mutual contacts as the mancienne line was fed to me six months before we got shot of him by someone very senior.It was all about the money. I the time i told him great your P & Ts are great but what about youngsters making the 1st team?

Really pleased we tied up the Gary Cahill deal, great player c good quick English centre back. Gives us options and depth, hope we tie up and attacking playmaker and a winger! Or use mata behind striker and bring in a winger and strIker! Realistically de bruyne and hazard??
I assume Cahill is to replace Terry

i see Hazard and Cahill as the only signings for us in january. Azpilequetta (spelling:S) may sign but i expect Ivan to retain a RB position after losing CB to new signing Cahill.
I would swap hazard 4 right the wing mata inbehind, play luiz at ryt back, and then get a left winger, then if torres aint playin wel sturridge can play centre forward, but i think torres will b fine

Still need to get a right back. JT is most probably going to be banned for a while, so Ivanovic will have to move to the centre. If we really can't get anyone I would rather Ivanovic with Cahill and Luiz right back
Add Azpilicueta and maybe a young playmaker eg. Lucas Moura/Dzagoev and we would win the title with that team, hands down.
