Does anyone think that Hazard will go to Madrid? Personally I think if he performs next season, he will get the captains band the following season. If that happens then I think he will stay with us through his prime years. Just my opinion. Let me know what you guys think!

To be frank, I don't think he's captain material. I don't think he has the right mentality to be a successful captain. My preferred choice for a new captain, assuming God forbid Terry leaves, would be Azpilicueta, as he seems t genuinely love the club, and on top of that I think he could make a great on-pitch leader.

Very much depends how he performs on EURO. If does really well which is quite possible there will be no way to keep him and RM or PSG will pay whatever it takes. If doesn't perform so well he will be still Chelsea player next season.
Playing Fabregas in deep role with so many defensive tasks is a pure waste.He should play n10 free to organize attack.
BTW Baba was excellent today and Matic absolutely superb.

Fabregas' best games for us have been when he has played in holding role. I think he's going to have his last few years with us, and if we want to get the best out of him, we need to build around him. Regarding hazard I do believe it's a matter of when not if he will leave.

I'm not too sure whether Hazard will leave in summer or not, although I hope he stays. I've always said that Cesc is far better in a deeper role provided the other midfielders cover for him defensively, he doesn't do enough in the advanced role for me. And I agree with antibot, Baba was very good today both offensively and defensively. I also thought Tomori did quite a good job when he came on, as did Abraham.

Hazard will NOT be leaving this summer unless there is and astronomical offer for him.
Tomori looks to be ready now - Abraham is one for the future.
