Evening all. Does anyone know how Chalobah and Josh Mceachran are getting on on their loans? Realisticly could you guys see them being part of our title charge next season or would they benifit more from another loan?
Thoughts guys and girls? also ED18 the living legand your thoughts on these two would be appreciated.

Merci :)

1 can van dan {Ed018's Note - i think another loan for Chalobah would make sense for next season. i would really like to see Josh stay at Chelsea and get a chance next season. these are just my opinions as whoever comes in this summer will do what he see's best for the club}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Considering they are both on loans at championship clubs this season, next season i'd like them to go to lower end premier league teams where they will get game time like Norwich, Sunderland, wigan as some examples then come back to us and be assessed after their prem loans. Much like what United did with Cleverley.

Agree1 Disagree1

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Being loaned to another prem team would make sense to me. Jamie Redknapp wrote in the mail that he thinks Chalobah will be a top player. So a loan to wigan or Swansea would be good for him. Think the managers there get the best out of their players. So long as they get regular football

Imagine a holding midfield duo of McEachran and Chalobah when they're both in the their twenties! A passer and a strong player is how to have a brilliant holding midfield

Who RA Should sign in the summer:

Jose - Manager
Fellaini
Luke Shaw
Cavani/ Levandowski

Bring back De Bryne and Lukaku

Sell Fernando, Essien, Bertrand and let Lamps, Malouda and Yossi go

Loan out: Paizon, Axe, McEachran, Marin, Romeou

Play 4-3-3

RDM

Believable12 Unbelievable5

I agree with the 4-3-3 formation and the Cavani signing as he's a year younger than Falcao

WelshBlueBen

Agree7 Disagree3

I still don't think we need fellaini. i'd love to see luiz played in the middle with ramires in a 4231 I think that would work. then buy a cb

jscottjr

Agree5 Disagree1

What's the point in sending Marin out on loan?
Just sell him.

Agree10 Disagree0

Saw piazon in Malaga's CL win and I can't see why we should loan him out again. We could use him on the bench and for cup matches. With our current style of play he can benefit from the practice pitch and matches at Chelsea as well as anywhere else unless I prem league team like a Swansea would guarantee him starting 11 which I don't think would happen. I also don't think we need Felaiani. Luke shaw and a top striker along with good central mid and we are set with the returning players from loan.

Agree2 Disagree2

You have been told by Shaw and by Saints that he is staying at Saints next season. So, why the continuing fantasy?

Agree1 Disagree8

If prefer a buy and loan back. If you think he's going to stay there much longer I'd advise you to lay off the hallucinogens.

Tk

Agree7 Disagree1

Play luiz cm, sign hummels or subotic for cover, luke shaw, as betrand not enough and my prefered striker, Cavani

when we won the champions league last year, many people told me we were so lucky and barca hit the post and bar and had 1 cleared of the line and missed a pen, and bayern batterd us also missing chances and a pen and us scoring in the last 10mins or so, to a point that if I argue or debait with friends about football they say last season doesn't count because we didn't deserve it and we were lucky in the same way a championship team gets to a domestic cup final, so now we are in the europa quarter final I would love us to dominate from now on not lose another game and really win and show why we are the best team in the europa league, I know some will say it don't matter as long as we win but I disagree, and so would Abramovich that's why he's trying to create a winning formula of playing good technical football while winning, and I really think this is a massive chance to show the rest of the world what we can do, don't get me wrong I would take a scrappy 1-0 win, but what i'm saying is we invested heavy in young creative players for a reason! to play a better style of football, I hope when the new manager comes in he's given at least 3 years to share his philosophy and ideas, so what if we finish 5 th 1 season long term we will be better of than having a new manager every 6 months just trying to win the fa cup and not planning next season or the future!
just my opinion I don't expect you lot to agree so write what you want, my opinion won't change, we need an identity a playing style, if we play 4231 then our under 10s got to play the same so when they are 21 and they play for the first team in defensive midfield they have played the same role with the same philosophy for the past 11 years this is the way forward in my opinion this gives us a solid base for the future, that's why I would take a hit for a season or 2 for this to happen!
very long I know but I have got a day off work lol

Believable5 Unbelievable5

I agree with your overall view of our manager situation and youth development, however why are you going on about 5th place finish and taking a hit for 2 years? This was our transition year with the thinnest sqaud that I can recall in the RA era including a joke of a striker for over half the season and yet looking no worse than 4th and still you sound as if you feel we can actually be worse going frwd. The way I see it, whoever comes in and even if we change formation, we should get better.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because we ain't done any of the stuff I wrote, our manager will leave in the summer he plays 4231, a new 1 will come in maybe 433 I don't know swansea have a model, it don't matter who is in charge they play there style/idenity, we have none, every 6 months a new 1 comes with a new formation or playing way, and I really think the players are getting bounced from pillar to post, ancelotti gave mcEachran 9 fist team starts in the 2010/2011 season then avb came and didn't fancy him so 6 months later he went to swansea and didn't get a game, now he's playing left wing in the championship, if ancelotti was still here i'm convinced he would be playing for us and england now that's my gripe, 1 step forward and 2 back, that's why i'm willing to have a season or 2 were we don't move forward or paper over cracks then have stability and class a project/idenity/foundation/ we can't go on as were doing : /

arsenal

real madrid

psg

man city

chelsea

dortmund

just your opinion.

thanks

cc {Ed002's Note - I have no interest in speculating about long lists.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Arsenal Manager will stay the same.
Real Madrid will get anccelotti
PSG will end up with Capello.
Man City will stay the same.
Chelsea will have Jose Mourinho.
Dortmund will end up with Bemitez.

Agree4 Disagree8

Chelsea will get krusty the clown, if history is anything to go on?

Agree4 Disagree4

Dortmund with Benitez?
Lol. And where will Klopp go?

Agree10 Disagree0

Dortmund wouldn't go near Rafa. He was penciled in for the RM position when he took over Chelsea. Results have changed some of the people at RM mind. He will not be at a top club next year. I assure you.

Agree4 Disagree7

Not sure how you can guarantee that Melbourne.

IB.

Agree7 Disagree3

By top team I mean Top 3 team (currently) in England, Spain, Italy and Germany. He was as I said penciled in for the RM job when he took us over IB. All he needed was to show he could get results still at the top level. He hasnt. I will go as far as saying I guarantee it. Please remind me IB mate if I'm wrong, but he has lost a whole lot of admirers since taking the gig at Chelsea, due to results.

Not even GOD. could have got a better results with curretn under confidence our side.
Cant understand. what is this Melbourne CFC thinks he is?.

I am sure. he is dreaming of Jose.
Keep dreaming.
If he comes to england. sure. he will come through bridge and reach Manchester.

Lets all put our hands together and welcome new chelsea manager. who can handle chelsea better than Benitez.

Mr. Melbourne CFC

Agree7 Disagree5

I've no need to remind you. Not taking a pop. Just wondered how you could say that with such confidence. You may well be right.

IB.

Agree0 Disagree0

So god couldn't have beat qpr, Southampton, Fulham, brentford, swansea and so on?

Jordan

Agree5 Disagree0

Told you enough times. brucie is a self rightous, pompous, muppet, and yet again is proving it.

Agree4 Disagree3

To the gromit posting, I didn't mention Jose in my post mate, so do us all a favour and stop wasting oxygen.

IB
Realise you weren't having a pop mate, sorry if that came off a little rude, I'm just convinced the bloke has only hurt his reputation among top European clubs. If he was to win the EL, I'm sure the views on him may change, but he will still not get a gig at a 'top' side.

Hi Ed could you please post the list of all players that Chelsea are interested in? - been asking for over 6 months now. {Ed002's Note - I am not going to start providing lists at this time, sorry.}

Azpilicueta has impressed me the most, surprisingly quick, and solid in defence. It's just his crossing is sometimes over hit, but you can't get every cross perfect, cole ain't a great crosser, but it is something that needs to improve. We go from slow football to quick tempo, and we look from average team to a team that could rip any one apart or do something special every 5 minutes of a game. We need to play hi tempo football and well be fine.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

I agree with all of that, playing at speed allows the attacking players more space to run into.
I feel the key is getting the right players in the centre midfield, we need players who are physically strong enoough to win the ball and technically good enough to pass it to one of our players and not give it away.
Out of what we currently have only Luiz and Romeou meet these requirements, I think it is one area along with strikers that we need to address in the summer.
DP

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes I would be happy with a deep lying playmaker in the mould of pirlo or xabi alonso to start quick attacks and keep us ticking over

I wouldn't mind keeping nando if he continues to play like this. He sure has got his pace back!
