I disagree with the poster before about Rudiger, I feel him and Christensen are class and have pace and ability on the ball to suit Sarris play hopefully.

I really enjoy seeing the absurd stories that the papers produce. Today we are linked with Sergej Milinkovic Savic. Don’t get me wrong Jorginho, Kante and SMS would be a wonderful midfield, but there’s no chance we’d get in a bidding war with United or Real for him.

Can’t see Madrid in for him when they have to replace Ronaldo and benzema,

Good point, however I still don’t find a any truth to this. as much as I want there to be.

We just went head to head with Man City for Jorginho and won. So why not?

You will have lots of money when real buy hazard and Courtois so why not? He is a top player.

SMS is a CM and CAM. What I've heard Real is interested in him more than Machester United.

This info of Milinkovic Savic came from Radiosei. What's or who's Radiosei?

15 Jul 2018 15:03:21
What did Hazard say after the England game? In a nutshell I heard:

It might be time to move on.

It's up to Chelsea, I'm happy at Chelsea.

If Chelsea do decide to move me on then everyone knows my preferred destination.

Ask every footballer, who doesn't already play for them, where their preferred destination would be should they leave their club. 90% (ish) would say Real Madrid.

I don't think Hazard leaving is anything like set in stone, but I do think he wants to see Chelsea convince him about the future of the club. I think Sarri will be a big part of that, he needs to get Hazard excited about his vision of the football we'll be playing.

Really fed up with the crap that comes out of Courtois's mouth, his got no respect for Chelsea whatsoever, his still under contract and throughout has openly spoke rubbish. He says his open to run down his contract.

The quicker we get rid the better, his a bad smell and influence, his latest quote, "hazard must go with me wherever I go".

Personally, I would love for Chelsea to sign Allison and then either sell him if the price is right or leave him to rot in reserves till his contract is up.

I've lost my patience with him.

I really think he's overatted.

I think courtois is a above average keeper had a good world cup and if he goes he goes so be it
I have never taken to him cech was miles better
Plus lads sorry to say I wouldn't mind hazard going I really don't think he is a big match player
He has all the skill in the world doesn't score enough all his trickery is just over the half way line and when the chips are down he very rarely delivers that I'm going to win this match performance
And before you abuse me for my opinion think hazard or drogba
Drogba everyone coz he turned up in massive matches hazard doesn't great player but does his stuff Vs smaller clubs
Plus from reading eds posts before he's a trouble maker behind the scenes for managers so take the money and run with both of them.

I totally agree with you. I have never taken to Courtois as much as I did to Cech and said before there was a reluctance to comeback after his loan I am sure. No doubting Hazard's talent but lack of end product and moody approach let's him down. If one had to choose between De Bruyne or Hazard which would it be? For me, De Bruyne every time. A missed opportunity with him, always gives 100%, creative in midfield, pacy and has an end product.

The Higuain rumours are most baffling, what are we going going for soon to be 31 year old striker who's best days are slowing behind him. Icardi is the one.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

15 Jul 2018 13:53:07
I agree Matt I won't be happy if he comes in as his best days are behi d him I would rather go with bats and morata this year rather than waste money on him with sarri coming in it may change their fortunes for us next year look at Moses before conte came nobody would have imagined him in our first 11 but because of the style played under conte he was suited to it so with the more attacking football morata and bats could be very good for us.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Jul 2018 17:11:46
Loads of posters on here mention Icardi as though it's a viable option. Icardi will not be leaving Italy for England.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jul 2018 19:26:29
how many trophies has icardi won at inter they are not the top side in Italy so why would a move to Chelsea not be possible we are a team that wins trophies point me to a team in England in last decade that delivers trophys more consistently in England the prem leauge not to mention his wages being greatly improved especially if hazard leaves.

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jul 2018 22:12:21
36, 24, 16, Higuains last 3 years, blokes on massive decline and coming to harder league is ridiculous for us to genuinely be interested, Icardi is in an inter side that’s not blessed with lots of creativity like Juve but Icardi scores goals, I have read him and his missus are trouble thou. Sarri likes his striker to press to, Morata could do that and more creativeness around him would do better, plus Michy feeds off wingers and his movement in,

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jul 2018 13:43:57
in my opinion we seriously cannot entertain the idea of selling both William and hazard in same window my biggest concern is that our window now closes before the rest in Europe if a deal is made will Madrid or Barcelona it will give us no time for a replacement so if Madrid want hazard they will have to buy him before close of our window otherwise Chelsea should reject their offer regardless of amounts same for willain.

Seems very likely that we will lose Eden, Willian and TC - all hard to replace but Eden irreplaceable and will hugely miss him. Not that excited as yet by attacking replacements mentioned as likely rather than possible. Was feeling pretty good after Sarri and Jorginho announced - now much less so as probably true for many on here?!

CM's
Jorginho
Kante
Bakayoko
Barkley
RLC
Golovin (If signed)
Fabregas
Drinkwater

Very good options even if we sell the bottom two.

CB's
Rudiger
Christensen
Rugani (If signed)
Luiz
Zouma
Cahill
Ampadu (loan)

Once again very good additions.

RB/ LB
Azpi
Emerson
Moses
Alonso
Zappacosta

Maybe some room for improvement here. Hopefully Emerson does well but if Zappa goes then we need a good replacement.

Attackers
Hazard
Willian
Pedro
Odoi

We need another star quality addition here. Willian will probably end up going so we need star quality.

ST's
Morata
Giroud

One more here needed.

Of course gk needed if tibo leaves too.

Does anybody know what the plan for Michy is? I wouldn't mind starting with him this season with Giroud waiting in the wings as back up and see how it goes until January and then reevaluating. Don't see Morata cutting it in the prem and to be honest don't like his style of play and the amount of chances he misses. Maybe a straight swap for Higuain? He's available and I know getting on a bit but far superior to Morata.

15 Jul 2018 10:59:42
I forgot about Batshuayi.

Agree0 Disagree1

15 Jul 2018 12:31:51
Batsy is a goalscorer and that is priceless. Huge mistake sending him on loan in January, he would of got us in the top 4 when Morata's goals dried up. Hope he gets the chance under Sarri.

Going foward will be intresting to see who we bring in the midfield options look really solid.

Wingers and a striker and a gk must be bein looked at and I can't really see rudiger has a Sarri type defender may be wrong.
The Croatian right back looks good vrasljko or somthing he looks decent at attacking good on the ball has a great cross.

Pavon also looked very good during the WC i have read a bit about him before hand he looks to have a bright future.

Also read a lot about maxi Gómez Uruguayan player slightly shocked wasn't given more playing time at WC looks a big talent

Julian Brant looks Great to wouldn't mind having him with us for the season seems too love going direct and not afraid to shoot.

Doubt we will get any of them but would be happy with just one.

15 Jul 2018 08:44:13
Why is Rudiger not a Sarri defender?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jul 2018 12:36:05
Rudiger is awful on the ball he is stiff and always has a mistake in him usually giving the ball away with a lazy pass, Sarri plays 4-3-3 then presses in 4-4-2 at which time the fullbacks join the midfield and the holding midfielder of the three drops back in between then cbs, he likes the ball to be played out with fast one touch passing in triangles until th other side front line falls back at which time the ball is then sent forward as per the defence he also plays strictly zonal rudiger does not fit the build for any of this he a rugged ball wining defender but is utterly terrible at anything else having him has one of the two most important positions in a sarri team is a recipe for disaster he will be the direct result of quite a few goals next year if he plays but I don’t think he will just my opinion of course plenty out there more educated then me.

Agree0 Disagree2

15 Jul 2018 23:43:20
Are you sure you're not confusing Rudiger with Bakayoko? Rudiger is the least likely of our CBs to play the ball backwards or sideways. He often brings it forward himself and nearly every time finds a team mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jul 2018 23:58:07
Looks like Hazard is off. The guy is going to smash it at Madrid and will get the respect and matched ambition he deserves. People have been extremely doubtful of his abilities becuase he’s not a scorer but I think we’ll see that change at the big stage.

Thankyou Eden Hazard.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed018's Note - I slightly disagree. If he doesn’t find a way to score more goals and fill the void that Ronaldo left I think he will find it unpleasant there. Now if they bring in Neymar or Mbappe this summer or next it might help}

15 Jul 2018 02:50:29
Agree Ed. He'll have an enormous amount of pressure on his shoulders to perform at Madrid and we know what Madrid fans are like. They aren't afraid to criticise and get on their players backs in the slightest, remember them booing Ronaldo? . Didn't make Bale feel all that welcome either after he went through a bad spell. Even Modric received a ridiculous amount of stick from their fans in his first few seasons. And when you consider Madrid will likely only be able to get one of the three of Neymar, Mbappe and Hazard during the summer because of their price tags, it'll make it much more difficult for him to settle. What he does at Chelsea and gets praised for won't be enough at Madrid. I genuinely believe he'd be more happier here progressing under Sarri, playing good attacking football, being loved by every Chelsea fan and still challenging for trophies than going to Madrid and to try and be Ronaldo's replacement. But that's just me and it's understandable why we wants to go there, i just don't think he'd be appreciated there anywhere near as much as he is here.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I also agree, I think leaving would be a mistake for Hazard. The fans very rarely appreciate the players they have at Madrid.}

15 Jul 2018 08:34:42
They are more than fair replies, I completely forgot to take into account Madrid fans and their ridiculousness.

Got any info about anything chelsea ed? Cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - nothing new mate sorry.}

Loved by every Chelsea fan? It was only a couple of months ago 50% of people on here wanted us to cash in on him after 2 bad games.

Agree0 Disagree2

15 Jul 2018 10:35:56
I agree with the Eds. I understand the lure of Madrid, but I think he may end up regretting the move if he ends up leaving. He'll enjoy his football less at Madrid.
