Agreed totally. Wish him well in every sense, great professional and a true big game player. Massively underrated in this country- people saw him as a French Andy Carroll at first. He's brilliant.

Absolutely agree too, and thought that we might have used him a bit more than we did. Great in UEFA Cup. Link play usually excellent and some vital goals.

I wish we had got to see Giroud a little more in a Chelsea shirt, while I'm also delighted we have Tammy who is doing wonderfully this season. But you can't help but feel a little sorry for Giroud, as he always done pretty well whenever he played for us. He might not have been prolific goalscoring wise, but last season his link up play brought the best out of Hazard, especially during that Europa League final.

I know you must know a lot about Chelsea's youth team since you've been able to talk about a young promising left back in Ian Maatsen.
This lead me to wonder if one of the reasons that we seem to be willing to sell Giroud is perhaps because the club has got plans about using a player from within the club as cover for the striker position if one of Tammy or Michy were to become injured? :) Or if the club is just taking a slight gamble that none of said players become injured? :)

{Ed002's Note - No, it is none of that. Giroud is leaving because his contract is running out and at 33 he wants more chance of playing regularly. It is nothing to do with anything else.}

It will be exciting to see if he gets to play much more at Inter. Both Lukaku and Lautaro seem to be doing really, really well, so he will certainly face some strong competition!

Well it certainly seems like Lautaro is of interest of some of the biggest clubs, when I read some of the other pages :) He would be very welcome at Chelsea in my opinion, but I don't see that happening any time soon :)
I actually think one of the strikers I would prefer seeing here the most is Osimhen, but that's also because I think it's awesome how he's overcome malaria - plus he seems very gifted.
Nevertheless have a nice day, Ed - wherever in the world you may be!
