If Hazard goes next year as is looking likely and this Willian interest is real I’d love David Neres in as a backup. Keeping Pedro to mentor the young other wingers we would have, all three of the younger wingers can play either side, can rotate in game, could pretty much share minutes like Pedro and Willian used to, which would be enough for any of them I’m sure, keeping fans who want to see CHO playing loads happy too, and keeps us set there for the future years if all the signings settle well.
I love Pedro and think he would still be a good 4th choice for cup games. Sarri keeps calling the players tired this year. So 4 players for 2 positions would be important as it means players can be kept fresh and rested.

I don’t know, but looking at his numbers he looks pretty consistent and the few times I’ve seen him play he always looks dangerous (and is only 21/ 22 I think? )

What a shame that some of the posters on here who write vile comments about the manager and some players are ruining this page yet again. We all seek the EDs comments on future transfers etc yet that could now not happen.

I feel your comment could be making things worse for everyone (as a lot of us value the information and explanations of the EDs on this site) . I think nothing calms/ shuts up ignorance (or vile comments as you put it) like the wise and correct answers or posts that come from the EDs. As much as we condemn these vile comments, I think emotional outbursts will never leave sports, all we can do is move past it.

Ed002, I think it's more to do with the fact that unlike other clubs, we don't know anything about which direction our club is going towards in terms of team building, future plans etc. That is why we need you, Ed. Sure, sometimes we do get too passionate about our team, but you are universally respected here, so when you say something, people listen.
It's said that ignorance breeds contempt. If you can help the fans get out of the dark, it will lead to a much more amiable environment. So, you kind of hold the cards here. We need you, Ed002. More than you know.

I know you give us updates about players if we ask like on Fernandes, Isak, Zaniolo etc. But I feel we need a full update like back in the good ol days.
Right now, we have no clue on which positions we are looking to strengthen at, which of our players we're looking to let to etc. Some kind of progress always gives optimism, Ed.

IMO, the majority of leavers are pretty obvious and a lot of posters, as always, will be disappointed in one way or another. It’s just not worth worrying to much about.
I’m more interested in the bigger picture but our wonderful club are not the most communicative to us fans and I guess I sort of understand there rationale.

I see every page with opinions on players and I don’t see it as ‘vile comments’. Simply stating that I don’t think Jorginho is hardly ‘vile comments’ and is not abuse either. It’s an opinion. I would never boo the player and I support him and every other chelsea player whenever they’re on the feild.
I haven’t seen the deleted posts that Ed002 was talking about but if me saying that I don’t think a player is very good or he’s poor is abusive, maybe I should stop posting because if opinions aren’t allowed I guess I shouldn’t contribute.
