ED002 Telegraph and Guardian are reporting Lampard has agreed a 1 year extension is this correct? {Ed002's Note - I don't know. Ca you please stop asking me to validate everything you read.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why are you so stroppy ed002 I noticed u get a lot of stick on other pages and now I know why.
You are suppose to answer every question that is asked that we read that's what your here for because you are suppose to know it all {Ed002's Note - Cretin. I am not here to answer you dumb-assed questions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha he's supposed to answer every question he's asked? not if they're ridiculous rumours that ed has to answer about over and over again. the eds give us what they know as a bonus its not something we have the right to demand from them.

Ok losing Hazard is a blow but not the end of the world. Terry has been missing for a massive portion of the season so no real worry about that. I just want to see all our players from the second the game starts right to the end give it their all, as if their lives depend on it. My concern is more about Cahill. Two shocking games he's had since he come back into the squad, needs to get his act together and the same goes for Ivanovic. If those two work hard and most of all together, we will be hard to break down at the back. Luiz and Ramires will pull most of the strings for us, they too have to be sharp and Luiz needs to keep a level head. Torres. well as long as someone breaks his nose before the game starts he will come out flying. That was the best I ever saw him play for us and it took a broken nose to wake him up. We can do this, this is practically our last game of the season and then just a matter of a small game against Everton then its summer holiday time, forget the friendly in the US with Man City, its been a long and bloody hard season, time for some R&R. COYB! Scott M.

Eds when you read some of these posts do you feel you need to laugh or cry, rush to the nearest toilet, bang your head on the nearest wall, ring the police and ask to be sectioned, or does life just carry on as normal? Sid

When, if ever would you expect chalobah to be playing for Chelsea ed? {Ed018's Note - hard to say but he is gonna need a loan to a premier league team to get some experience in the league. I'd say 2-3 years}

Why are we keen to loan KDB out when he is good enough to play? He and lukaku should both play for us. Benteke would also be a good cheaper option instead of falcoa. we need power up front and someone who can hold the ball up.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Actually Saturday was the first time I've really watched Benteke play. If it was anything to go by, boy is he a handful. The way he could control a ball straight out the air and then keep it between 2 or 3 defenders was really impressive. I think he's actually a kind of player we need, a big target in the box

To be fair don't no who I would want if falcao deal or cavani deal doesn't happen. Ok lendowski (spelling) he's ok but my opinion he's great but not world class seen him a few times he's done ok but other times he's no where. Think we really need a good striker was so happy when Torres signed but its not happened for him just hope it doesn't happen again cavani would be my choice for now and one of the eds said we were close before hope we get him this time.

Ed

Who is chelsea's prefered managerial choice

Thanks

Shak {Ed018's Note - I would think Mourinho at this point}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

At this point. Things not looking good with Jose returning?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why they not looking gud Real Madrid already looking for a manager

y real madrid looking for a manager?
ohh yes. jose is sacked actually. if cheslea doesn't come calling.

Agree0 Disagree0

What the chuff you carping on about? Its 100% Jose Mourinho next season. Even Benitez has let slip who is going to take over, its a done and dusted deal. i'm just praying its going to be a double whammy and we get Cavani too. Scott M.

could we have cavani and falcao up front {Ed018's Note - no}

14 May 2013 10:40:54
Hazard, Terry and Mikel have all traveled with the squad to Amsterdam. That said so has Demba Ba who is cup tied. Fingers crossed Eden at least is fit to play tomorrow.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not concerned about Terry's injury, but without Hazard it seems likely that Moses would start, and that is a concern. Hazard would be a huge loss.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wonder if Mikel will 'find the motivation' to lift the trophy should we win it tomorrow the cheeky git

Agree0 Disagree0

I would find motivation to leave him at home and sell him in the summer, unfortunately I can't see anyone wanting him.

". Considering the point at which Rafa Benitez arrived at Stamford Bridge and the distractions he has had to endure, it is only right to acknowledge that the manager has performed an excellent job in his six months in charge. Many will point to the gap between Chelsea and first place increasing from four to 16 points during Benitez's reign, but the Blues were already on a slippery slope under Roberto Di Matteo, winning just two of the Italian's last eight matches in charge and taking a significant step towards becoming the first Champions League holders to exit at the group stage.

There were also concerns over Di Matteo's conditioning techniques and, without the crucial benefit of a pre-season, Benitez has worked wonders to eke 60+ games out of summer signings Oscar and Eden Hazard, as well as other members of the squad.

200 mill spend. outclassed in CL. fall out with every players in the entire league. handed title to barca. accusing inesta. outspoken with the media. makes jose mourninho your messaih.

I bet you. If chelsea coundlt come calling. he would have been sacked by Real Madrid.

show some respect to a man who worked with your team in the middle when pep guaridola and most of other managers whowed middle fingers to your owner.

If the managers have an association, none will get in to chelsea job.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can all the liverpool fans desperate to defend their messiah, despite the fact he was the one who orchestrated you going from perennial 4th to mid table mediocrity, please leave this page and stop talking absolute nonsense about mourinho, a manager who has won the treble on 2 seperate occasions with 2 different teams. thank you.

By sure the truth behind it, be I have heard and read the BVB don't want Chelsea, Man U, or Bayern to get lewandowski. Not sure the truth behind it thought.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lev has agreed terms with Bayern

14 May 2013 02:16:51
How would everyone feel about Rooney coming to the club. I personally think we should approach Man U ref him. He can play anywhere along the front 3 or even as a CF. if we could get him in the region of £20m and Levandowski for about the same, what buys the would be.

His salary 250k per week mate!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm fairly sure his salary is performance based mate. I'd doubt he would've been paid £250k all that often

Agree0 Disagree0

How do u know that Melbourne? Guessing again are you.
Cfcmatt.

Agree0 Disagree0

You really think United would sell him to Chelsea for 20 mill. Try 35 to 40 mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only people likely to pay anywhere near 35-40 for him would be PSG or Monaco. Not worth it in my opinion. Could pretty much get Lewandowski and Schurrle for the same amount.

Agree0 Disagree0

No Matt. A lot of top earners would have performance incentives in their contracts, match payments would make up a portion as well, and seeing as though he hasn't been playing well and in some cases plainly not playing, I think it would be fairly accurate too say that he hasn't been paid £250k a week too often. United don't turn massive profits by paying players ridiculous weekly wages and having them sat on the bench.

How do you know he's on £250k a week in the first place mate? Reading too many rags I think.

I wouldn't take any notice of all this Mourinho talk in the newspapers, as Ed002 says it should become clearer around June. I don't expect him to come here, with Man City changing manager, ironically, at the same time I wouldn't at all be surprised if they moved for Mourinho even though Sorriano and Beguristain chose Guardiola over him allegedly and PSG want him aswell with Al Khelaifi apparently not taking no as an answer from Mendes with even Monaco, who are not in any European competition next season, after him aswell with their owner looking to outspend the world this summer. What will become abundantly clear if Jose goes to Man City is that his "love" for us, is not all that it seems even though most of us love him and if he goes to Paris or Monaco we'll know who really makes decisions for Mourinho, Jorge Mendes.
