Ed, how does Neymar becoming a father effect the likelihood of him moving to west London? {Ed001's Note - well he might not want to have his child brought up in a foreign country or the mother might not want to move.}

Subs Bench for 2011/2012 season

Lampard
Drogba
Ivanovic
Kalou
Ramires
Mikel
GK (Not 100percent who)

Starting line Up for 2011/2012 season

Chech

VDW Alex Terry A.Cole

Essien Luiz Benayoun

Tevez Torres Neymar

Your thoughts please Ed?? {Ed001's Note - I like the look of that, but very little, if any, chance of it happening.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Its nice aint it, Luiz and Essien holding thmidfield for Benayoun to be able to create and support Torres, I think its realistic to an extent, Tevez wants to leave and we are being linked with Neymar constantly, but we shall see.

Agree1 Disagree2

That looks good. Not sure if that's the personal we will end up getting but I love the idea of 2 holding mids. I'd prefer essien and ramires filling that role. But it looks like we have a good chance at landing neymar hopefull that happens. And on that right side, I'd gladly take tevez, Sanchez, or aguero. Have a lampard or someone like pastore playing behind the front three and that's a beautiful thing

Agree1 Disagree0

Please ppl forget Van Der Wiel he is an average RB he is the younger version of Bosingwa he can attack but can't defend!

Agree0 Disagree0

My line up
Cech
Mallo(a Spanish RB)- -Alex- -Jones- -Van Aan Holt
Ramires- -Luiz- - McEachran
Sturridge- -Torres- -Mata

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Luiz will be less exposed in this position as he has gave away a few penalties already, obviously he will learn but I think he suits this position more so as he likes to push forward and has great control with the ball at his feet.

Exactly Ed, I agree 100 per cent Benayoun could be one of these players but Carlo prefers to start the more slow and less effective Lampard. It hurts me to say it but Lampard has totally gone for me, hes a shadow of what he used to be and should be starting from the bench. I don't get that Carlo has also stated we don't need many changes, I mean im all for keeping Carlo on at Chelsea but if he still believes that the likes of Lampard is still a first team player then certain questions have to be asked, don't you agree? {Ed001's Note - I do fully agree, it is a shame but it is clear Lampard is struggling right now, maybe a summer break is what he needs.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Maybe, but I very much doubt he has the legs to go another full season starting in every honour we compete for, We'l see anyway but if i was manager ide certainly be building next seasons team around the likes of Essien, Luiz, Torres ect. Not Frank unfortunatley.

Agree0 Disagree1

U shud be really ashamed of urself foe makin that statement. . .Lampard is a legend in chelsea and shall not not start from the bench until the end of his career. . its jst like sayin ryan giggs should always be startin from the bench for the red devils

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should we be ashamed? At the end of the day its what is in the best interest of Chelsea Football Club, and if starting Frank Lampard is going to reduce our chances of winning trophies then im afraid he has to be dropped to the bench. Lampard has been a great servant to the club granted but we cannot play him because of what he has done in the past as if this was the case Eric Cantona would'nt be acting he'd still be pulling on a shirt for United lol! You should no if you watch any kind of football that you are played on form not on what name you have on the back of your shirt. Lampard 33 now its time we found a replacement. Oh and Do you think Giggs starts every game for united?? no Fergie rotates him as he does not have the legs hence the reason why he never played against us at stamford bridge in the PL.

Ed, How could Silva have been to lightweight for us when we go out and buy players like Ramires, Benayoun, Zhirkov??? Silva is a world class player and should be playing at the very top. {Ed001's Note - I don't know if you have ever watched any of those players play judging by your post. Benayoun is a proven Premier League player. Ramires and Zhirkov are far from lightweight. Silva was playing in Spain and well known to be technically giften but to be easily knocked off the ball. Numerous scouts had looked at him over the years, the conclusion by almost all of them was that he would not be up to the physical nature of the Prem. What City have done is to build a team that is extremely physical and strong around Silva, allowing his lack of physicality to become immaterial.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I watch them week in week out ed, ive supported them for nearly 20 years now so i think i have a good idea of how strong they are, Benayoun yer granted was already premiership material before we purchased him but the reason i mentioned all three of these players is because they are all similar in stature to Silva, And we have Mikel, Essien who are both equal to De jong and Yaya Torre. Both Mikel and Essien im sure would have been quite capable of protecting Silve if he would have joined. Im just fed up of seein us keep going for these Rugged midfielders instead of the more out and out creative and attacking midfielder, Hence the Silve subject. {Ed001's Note - I understand what you are saying, but Silva is a lot more lightweight than either Zhirkov or Ramires. Both are physically strong for their size, but Silva has always been what always used to be known as a luxury player. Great if you have the ball, but a bit useless if you don't. I do see why you want a player like that though, Benayoun can be one, I was dubious when he joined Liverpool, but I have to say that, when used correctly, he is top class. But, very like Silva, he needs protection and to be given the ball, also helps if he is actually on the pitch!!}

Ed, This Sahin looks like a good player but i don't think he'd get as much time on the ball in the prem as he is at Wolfsburg, Your thoughts please?????? {Ed001's Note - the Sahin who has signed for Madrid?}

Hi Ed, has there been any interest from Chelsea for Micah Richards. Seeing as we have previously had interest in him and now it seems that we need an attacking right back, i was wondering if there still might be a possibility that we attempt to sign him. {Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any recent interest, it is unlikely there would be any time wasted looking at City players because City would not sell to Chelsea.}

Hi Ed,
I know ur quite cautious in your statements. But could you give us, lets say, an "educated guess on": Where Lamps will end up next season and who Chelsea want to replace him?
Cheers {Ed002's Note - I am not going to guess. Sorry.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Ed2, can you ask Ed1 if he would like to comment on the post? (He's slightly more chatty) :) {Ed002's Note - He is not here so the Chelsea posts can do with out an editor until he show up perhaps later today.}

If Chelsea does manage to land their targets this summer which I believe really should be no more than 4 players and possibly a goalkeeper would they then be more inclined to sell say drogba or lampard? {Ed002's Note - Lampard yes.}

So are you pretty confident that drogba will be a Chelsea player next season?

{Ed002's Note - Why put words in to my mouth?}

Not putting words in your mouth just asking a question or wondering you opinion
