Hello ed, I believe I saw a couple of weeks ago on the Liverpool page you mention (sorry if I'm wrong) that Konoplyanka's representatives had contacted Chelsea over a possible move and that the player was very interested. I was just wondering if this is still the case and whether or not Chelsea would have an interest in him? I think it would make sense since there doesn't seem to be many top wingers about and he is on a free I believe? Many thanks

{Ed002's Note - No - you are wrong.}

Apologies then Ed! One more thing, is the interest in Falcao for a loan or is there any chance for a permanent move? Cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea want a loan. No one wants to buy. There will be an option rather than an obligation to buy at the end if a loan goes ahead.}

Loan Falcao, Bamford goes out on loan in the Premier League for a season. Then Falcao leaves at the end and hopefully Bamford would then be ready to take over. Sounds good to me if you put it like that.

Hi ed! What's the latest on Sterling? Could Chelsea make a move?

{Ed002's Note - Try the Liverpool page.}

Has FFP been eased ED? Man City appear to be on verge of a huge spending spree which makes nonsense of the rules! I understand the Milan clubs challenged EUFA and Platini but wasn't aware that anything had significantly changed.

I think all the talk about City spending crazy money this window is just that, talk, and nothing more. They were in trouble with FFP last summer, spent big on Bony in Jan and haven't made any serious money from sales. Talk of them spending 140mill (or whatever it is) seems like nonsense to me, I can't imagine they have anywhere near that to spend at the moment. (also I believe ED has previously alluded to this when he gave us info on Pogba)

{Ed002's Note - They will be selling players and raising money.}

Is mikel off to All Ain?

Read this as well. I'll be sad to see him go but I'd be happy not to see him at a rival club.

I'll be happy to see him go and sad not to see him not go to a rival club!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - John Obi Mikel may be available in the summer with interest from Al Ain and Monaco. The interest of Inter has moved on and I suspect that the interest of Napoli will left with Benitez. Real Madrid has spoken with his agent but not with Chelsea. Al Ain have made a very good offer to the player and I expect a move can be agreed with Chelsea.}

Mikel has agreed personal terms with Al Ain and it is now left for Chelsea and the Dubai club to agree on a transfer fee. He has returned to England to communicate all these to Chelsea. We just have to wait and see what Chelsea say in this regard. Says agent

Cheerio thanks for being loyal to chelsea for so long. But we can't have a such negative player in our team who to be honest plays one good game 4 terrible. He can't even tackle apart from in champions league final. Good to see us and chelsea moving forward and a better direction for actual football purposes. I'd rather Romeu played ahead of mikel.

I'll be very sad to see him leave. Ok maybe he isn't the most positive when it comes to going forward but he's always done a very capable job and never complained about playing time! Besides, if all the top managers that we've had at the club since Mikel arrived rate him then who are we to not? Few special moments from him for me, his goal against Fulham (celebrated madly with my brother who's am Arsenal fan purely because he NEVER scores) and that backheel against Everton! In addition to his top class performance on the 19th May 2012, the best day of my life. Thank you Mikel and if you're truly leaving I'll be sad to see you go!

Who else wants Diego Costa to be our No.1 penalty taker? i'm not a fan of hazards tap in style, prefer and feel more confident with Diego smashing it home

Opinions?

Hazard is statistically the best penalty taker in Europe! I'm not panicking when he steps up for them!

I'm happy with hazard on pens but he does have me nervous unlike a mr lampard who you just knew would smash it in

Good to see you back, Aron :)

{Ed018's Note - yea, welcome back Aron. Been alittle quiet without you posting}

I definitely agree that I never feel confident with hazard taking, once the keeper guesses the right way he saves it. Give him credit he sends the keeper the wrong way almost every time and he has the confidence to do it but I was at the Sunderland game to see Costa smash home the penalty for his 20th league goal and it felt far more comfortable as a fan

Hazard won the majority of pens himself too. if he put a bit more power behind them I'd feel more at ease

Oscar takes good penalties as well as far as I know.

17 pens taken, 17 scored! Why would we even discuss him not taking pens?

Who? Hazard missed 2 this season and can't think who else you mean

Hands up, when looking back Hazard's 17 from 17 was from an article written in November.

15 Jun 2015 22:14:36
I'm confident with Hazard except I like Costas power, if Eden put more power into the pens then he would be best in Europe
