It's quite interesting all national team that have played 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-1-2 have won. Holland, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica.

Hi Ed, I know you have said in the past that you don't know much about the kids, but I was wondering if you knew which of the younger Chelsea players Chelsea rate highly (I believe you have mentioned Christensen before). And do you know what the plans are (if there are any yet) for Baker, Ake Chalobah and Omeruo next season?

Cheers Ed!

From what I've heard Chelsea rate Christensen highly, and he is seen as JT's replacement

Ed002 European and UK papers are heavily speculating about Chelsea interest in Song and Yarmolenko. According to your knowledge is there any truth about it? Thanks!

Morning Fellas, I took a good night sleep before I decided to post this so it doesn't feel like MOTD fever, but how good was Daley Blind. We need a quality left back, he needs a great club (with all respect to Ajax), so why don't we just make it happen. He isn't as expensive as shaw or Moreno, just as young as the latter. Also pretty good defensively. Going forward he is quite good, speed and wonderful delivery, he gave Azpi a run for his money all game and that's saying alot. I hope we atleast consider him. Maybe if I write his name on here a lot the club will take up interest? Yeah, I don't think so either, bet felipe Luis is sealed. Anyway just a shout.

Just wondering but how long does the fever last?

He was good. But let's wait for few more games. I think we are mental if we sign luis. Wait till after world cup I say. See who stands out. Luis expensive, 29 when season starts seems a bit of an odd signing. Shaw priced too high, we let sturridge leave for less money and he's English, not great in defence.

I agree, brilliant game but let's wait and no doubt UTD and van gaal will be in for him,, also of the point but united with van gaal, no European football to worry about and huge transfer kitty. Next season will be brilliant.,

Man U will struggle to get in the calibre of player they want and they need so many players they won't gel quickly enough to qualify for champions league football next season. They will be fighting Spurs and Everton for Europa.

Completely agree that Luis makes less than zero sense. I still insist that I would pay a LOT of money for shaw. Wouldn't be suprised if united can't get shaw that they go for him. He can also play midfield where they're brutal so that could happen as well.

I can see costa being a flop for Chelsea, whenever I've watched him he hasn't done anything special unfortunately, I can see another Torres on the cards :(

IMO, he made a mistake to represent 5pa1n. He would've been better off in d Brazil team. He should be fine for Chelsea the way they play, that is if he stays fit.

Costa has done everything he can to be fit for Spain but you could see he wasn't match fit. However the movement he showed is far better than what Chelsea have had for a long time upfront so once he gets his sharpness back he will be fine.

His runs were fabulous but the 5 behind him wanted to sit back and control the tempo so he'd have two on him every time he touched the ball. I bet Jordi alba was further up the pitch on average then all five except for silva. It would take a hell of a striker to be successful with that.
