Imagine a January of kroos hummels and lavezzi we might aswell dream.

Lavezzi's way past it and Hummels is over-rated IMO. He's had a really poor season so far.

Don't really known if we need lavezzi that much. It would definatelly affect the game time of kenedy and traore (even thought the latter doesn't get any anyway)

The lavezzi rumours keep filling paper pages I for one would welcome him with open arms he's skilful he can get goals and more importantly any time iv seen him play he runs himself into the ground he could be a great and cheap addition as he wants out of psg.

Eds. is the impending two window transfer ban on the Madrid Clubs going to impact on Chelsea's transfer plans?

For example. could we now trigger Griezemann's release clause as they will be less likely to sell when they can't buy?

Thanks for sharing so much knowledge recently.

Edd and fellow fans any of you guys see christiansen or kalas coming back and having a stab at Chelsea first team what ever about kalas Christiansen is playing in a good league and cl football he could be a good talent do we really need to spend spend spend look at Spurs blooding through Harry Kane an mason etc and I no they brought Ali but they gave him A run . aina looks a good player but is he first team ready one thing is for sure if we had pochetino or wenger he would be thriving with the the youth in the squad over the next 2 or 3 years I hope someone gives rlc a proper run it doesn't seem to be happening do.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed018's Note - I think Christensen has a chance. He has progressed well. Kalas I'm starting to doubt will make it at Chelsea}

14 Jan 2016 22:23:49
Certainly Christiansen could make a great partnership with zouma 2 young talented centre halfs the experience he is and has gained playing in Germany is emense for his progress . we're is kalas by the way is it Middlesbrough he's at . Any update on bamford and ainas futures edd . do you think rlc and Kennedy will feature much . I thought rlc actually done very little the other day apart from d goal he was annoynomous just my view but I do love his potential most games iv seen him he is exciting u can see he has it.

Agree0 Disagree3

15 Jan 2016 12:30:30
Totally agree on Christensen, he's currently in the middle of his first real season as a pro, and he's consistently hailed as one of the best cbs in Germany, which is really impressive. I'd choose him over Stones any day of the week.

Oh to have a spine of Drogba in his prime, Terry in his prime and especially frank lampard in his prime. Think we miss lampard more than anyone.

14 Jan 2016 20:03:49
Ok out of those 3 in their prime who would you add to this squad? What we really lacking? A goal scorer? A goal scoring midfielder? A rock at the back?

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Jan 2016 11:13:51
It makes your mouth water thinking of those three in their prime. Currently if I had one choice I would pick Frank Lampard. Could play as a creative midfielder, score in the box with feet and head and not afraid to come from deep and shoot.

15 Jan 2016 12:05:12
Totally agree. Lamps without a second thought.

A. Cole?

Has to be Frankie. Part of that could be the makeup of our squad with absolutely nobody capable of performing his role but man could he help us at the moment.

All this talk of buying strikers and attacking wings and I can't remember the last time we pitched a shutout in back to back Epl matches. What we need for the quickest turnaround is a world class left back and a world class defensive mid (like Matic in his first year back) . If not a dm then a world class center back along with a LB, or better yet all three.

Hi eds. now that the madrids have transfer bans does that mean other clubs like Chelsea will be investigated further and also face a possible ban. thanks in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - It has no implications on what will happen to other clubs.}

14 Jan 2016 15:49:22
Hi Ed 002, will this impact timing of signing our targets from madrid clubs (i. e. will chelsea attempt to sign Greizmann or Kroos in this Jan window as ban takes effect from upcoming transfer window)

Thanks for all your responses on this site. Appreciate it:-)

Well it looks like Hazard won't be going to Real Madrid in the summer then!

Yahoo, Hazard still be our for the next 18 months.

Real could appeal just like Barcelona did and delay transfer ban allowing them to make moves this summer before having to go a year without signings.

Hello again lads, here are my thoughts about next two games. Basically they are really important as if we win them both we still have a good chance to push for fourth place. Anyway if we pick up 3 (or even 4 points) this could mean that all hopes are gone. Therefore we could integrate some youth in the team and focus on FA cup and Champions league.

When is the better chance to give youngsters some game time then now?

What you guys think should we still try to push for 4th place if we don't pick the wins against everton and arsenal?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

14 Jan 2016 16:37:28
After the performance against WBA I would say 4th place is already long gone. I would love us to play RLC, Kenedy, Aina and Troare for extended periods but it ain't going to happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Jan 2016 19:28:50
Aina? Why because he may leave? How about Azpilicueta at Right Back and Rahman Left back. Surely that makes more sense? Do agree with other 3 though. Now's the time to start blooding them in, especially with Guus there, who isn't afraid to give the youngsters a chance. Keep the "better" players fit for the Champions League,

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Jan 2016 09:52:19
Aina - Yes, because he won't sign unless he gets playing time - I think he's a real talent and would hate to see him go to a rival Premiership club. The same with Charly Musonda. I wish we would adopt the motto: If they're good enough, they're old enough.

Eds do Chelsea still have any interest in cavani.

Hey Ed002,

Have the powers that be at Chelsea started to identify and sound out potential new Managers for the hotseat as of next Season?

If so is Jorge Sampaoli someone the Club are keeping an eye on?

If Chelsea are unable to aquire the Manager they most desire (whoever that may be) will the Club try and keep Guus Hiddink on for atleast a further Season.

I appreciate You may not be aware of the answers to My questions but any info is greatly received.

Thank You in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - The club are looking at their options. They have made no real secret that they would like Guardiola if that is possible. They will look at other options as they know that will be difficult. At this time Hiddink has no intention of staying beyond the summer.}

Thank You Ed002, much appreciated :)
