Has anyone heard anything on the zouma interest. Does it look like something may happen in the summer for him

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Chelsea, Inter and Monaco are all defo interested! His agent, who seems to like to talk, has stated that the player prefers a move to Serie A or the Premier League and is in talks with clubs.

I think we'll sign him in the summer and sell Luiz - plus Terry to get a years extension; but that's just my opinion.

I though there was a time we all wanted Fellaini here. Would he have been a better option to Matic, especially at £28m?

Hi Ed - Long time no speak!

Quick question that I couldn't find the answer to. You said the plan was t replace de Bruyne with Guarin. Is this still the case or has the deal for Matic (if successful) ended out interest in the Columbian?

Thank you

{Ed002's Note - Read the fucking posts.}

ED002 you haven't said anything anywhere?

Suggestion, let's just forget about matic and guarin until either of them actually sign for the club. Give ed02 a break.

{Ed002's Note - I am not tryin to be difficult but I do struggle with the time avaialble to update these pages. I apologise if I was a little abrupt.}

No problem Ed I appreciate everything you do for this page.

He is co-owned by Juventus which will complicate any transfer for him, and any way they already said he'll be in their first team next season.

Alright, it's looking almost certain Matic will be a Chelsea player again. Now I can't comment on him as I've never really seen him play.
My question is aimed at those who have watched him regularly. Is he a good fit for us? Or are there many other players who would have been better (I'm thinking of Vidal, who could potentially move in January, Gundogan or Pogba perhaps)?

BTW, it would totally blow if United were able to sign any of those 3, especially Vidal. He could very well get them ticking again and they'd be up there fighting for (potentially) the title in no time.

I would say he is the most disciplined out of that list and is best suited for his role as a CDM. He has great size and good athleticism, reads the game very well and is comfortable with the ball at his feet.

He will protect that back 4 and distribute the ball effectively. His size is also beneficial for set peices offensively and defensively and at 25 is coming into his prime.

Good buy and fit for our needs for the 2nd half of the season.

Ed, I wondered if you could give any info on the position with Romeu at the moment. Do the club have him watched frequently, or do they rely on updates from Valencia? Also, are you aware of any plans past this season for him - i.e is there a hope he proves there are no residual issues with his knee and can thus move him on?

Seems a shame if his Chelsea career is over before it ever got going.

{Ed002's Note - The plan is he will come back. All loan players are subject to being regularly watched and each has a contact who checks on them and talks to them regularly.}

Not good enough. Get rid.
