Good start to the season and the squad is looking balanced. Last season we were a little short in central midfield, the club have addressed that with Jorginho, Kovacic, RLC coming back and added to that, Barklay looking sharp, Kante and Cesc. Sorted. Top wide players in Hazard, true world class, Willian, Pedro and the emerging Hudson-adoi. Sorted. Decent young keeper with experienced back up plus a very promising youngster coming through. Sorted. Top right back in Azpi with cover in Zappa, Maybe an upgrade needed?, Best left back in Europe in Alonso plus the promising Emerson. Sorted. Fantastic CB in Rudiger, good CB in Luiz, great promise in Christensen and a real gem in Ampadu who can double up in midfield. Sorted. Morata could be decent but need to see a lot more, and Giroud a great back up but for me, this is the position we need to focus on. A world class striker. Not easy to find and they cost a lot, but Roman showed his commitment and intentions in the summer by buying Kepa for a world record fee so money not an issue. 1 striker and we are looking very good for a push on top 4 and even the title. Looking good and half full as always. Cheers.
