Honestly you lot misunderstand a lot of peoples nag about Jose. I mean its easy: pick one between Rafa and Jose evryone picks Jose no surprise there. Fast forward to the start of the season and we are playing like a whole new team and people talking about gelling and players under performing? This players were all kicking butt last season and now all of a sudden they are under performing, really even Nando started scoring towards the end of last season. I don't expect us to win every game 5 or 6 nil but I do expect us to play every game like we want to win it, the games against villa and united yeah we didn't loose but I was still bumed cause of the way we played. I thought all the youth players and new kindda technically gifted players where for a new kind of football. ATTACKING and the gelling? Wasn't that the excuse for last season.

I for one not saying Jose is the wrong choice or anything I mean he is still the best all i'm saying is he should get over himself and not try and fix what isn't broken I respect he has his own way and he wouldn't want to do what past mangers have done with this lads and he might get a better combination but right now he should play the three amigos, I think they get each other and have formed a spectacular relationship. Changing the team evey f******* game is not healthy. We made some wrong decisions during the summer but we still made the best signing bringing TSO back.
P.S. Giving your opinion and it sounds like your fed up doesn't mean you ain't going to support the team, I mean even if they brought kezman to lead the line, i'm positive everyone on here would support the blues. Good post. I just thought the team just needed a bit of fine tuning, as we were starting to play some excellent football at the end of last season. Please Jose play mata, hazard and Oscar together

Thats actually been my point Sid, every fan at the end of last season said all we needed was a world class striker and cdm and we could challenge on all fronts. So ok we didn't get one on the market but we brought back a youngster who in limited mostly sub appearances scored 17 goals against the same teams our other strikers couldn't score against and he did so with inferior midfield tallent around him yet we loaned him out. At cdm similar story, we didn't get a world class player on the market but brought back a player who played decent for one of the world's biggest clubs along with signing a young player who in every opportunity given seems to be up to it but neither have been given a chance thus far. I know we have a new manager who wants to put his own stamp on his team, it's just frustrating that we seem to have tried every squad combination except for ones that address what our real problem is. I would love to see Jose start our mazacar trio and play with a rotation at both striker and cdm. I want to see combos of Essien/mvg, Rami/mvg, Essien/Mikel, and Essien/Rami that we haven't seen yet to determine the best possible pairing. And Jose should allow the mazacar trio to rotate sides like last season so teams can't load up on hazard because they know where he will be.

Jose has said that he and the club do not like the way that the team has played during past two years, and that he is going for a complete change of style, which will take time. We won the champions league based on hardwork, a good defence and a large slice of luck and good fortune, plus drogba. How does everyone think what "style" Jose has in mind and how the Chelsea team will eventually play? Are we looking at the way his previous Chelsea team played or we aiming for exciting attacking football, because that's the way I thought we were heading last season.

I noticed that you are making the fallacy of saying that the players shouldn't have to gel because they all played together last year.

It (should be) understood by all that Jose is implementing an entirely new system. If the entire system on top of which a team functions changes, then the gelling that players have done in the past will be of little use in the new system. This is because players don't simply have to gel with one another; they have to gel with one another within the playing framework implemented by the manager.

Us fans have got the right to moan and criticise. We're the ones who pay thousands of pounds going home and away, buying merchandise. And so far this season, it's not been worth a penny too watch. It's disappointing. The team has been poor in certain parts of the field and our all round game is naive and boring. We're static from central midfield no movement. Cole and ivanovic have been under performing. Lampard ramires and Mikel have all been too deep. Mourinho played eto over Torres when Torres played extremely well v bayern. Azpilicueta and Bertrand should be played Ivan offer nothing at all over his own half, other than corners. Cole has been beaten more this season then ever in a whole season. Mikel couldn't mark the front post v Basel and he's ment to be strong and tall. Every player looks out of position. Jose I swear has carried a Spanish problem back over here for omitting mata, dave and Torres like he has. We the fans pay big money and we are getting tosh. I ain't bothering today.
