Love how we are linked with Bale lol. In most papers at the moment.
Would be funny if we did sign him lol but I doubt it.

More chance of winning the lottery lol

The Express becomes crazy already. Yesterday, it said that Chelsea have frankly discuss with Real about the interest of Varane. Today they said that Chelsea want to seize MU hand with a big package of 90 mil pound for Bale. Besides that, there were also lots of rumors about the compete with Real on signing Reus.

I really couldn't see Chelsea paying that sort of money for any player were not that kind of club, we invest wisely unlike United buying the most expensive players available

Hahaha good one situation88

To be fair to situation88, the last time we spent a huge amount of money on anyone and it turned out to be a bad buy, was Torres. Since Torres, our transfer policy seems to have changed (or at least around that time).
So yes redrosie, I don't think we are that kind of club anymore. And we do invest wisely.

If we were to buy another winger in January or next summer who would it be. We would have to raise funds by selling Salah and one of Willian and Schurrle which for me would be Schurrle because Willians getting better for me and his work rate is unreal. I'd use a youngster as 4th choice either Piazon or Traore save spending money. Same as CM I'd sell Mikel and use Ake more because I really rate the lad he played a lot in the europa league under the fat waiter and played well for 19 years old.

There's not many wingers available apart from Reus who would be a massive signing. But wouldn't our team be way too attacking if we signed him? Does Reus have a good work rate I don't know? Fabregas, Matic and Oscar are a quality trio in midfield but instead of two holding (Cesc and Nemanja) I'd drop Oscar in there to a 4-3-3 to close the midfield down. Or play Ramires in the big games.

I've got a feeling Willian will start scoring a fair few more goals soon to make his game quality but we can't rely on Schurrle's inconsistency as backup and I haven't seen Salah play great yet.

So, if you add Willian's work rate with someone more clinical in front of goal what do you get? CUADRADO. Really like the look of him, I watched him in the World Cup for Colombia and he never had a poor game. He's definitely not a right back but he is a quality player on the wing. For me he would be the right option to keep a good balance in the team.

I personally want cuadrado or Reus because I like them as players, the formers work rate and the latter's style( that includes his hairstyle) but honestly, I know where you guys are coming from but why spend unnecessarily? We have lots of young players in this position and sell Schrulle? He has had an awful start to the season but he is still a very decent player and can go a long way. Let's not get carried away. Let's keep to spending cause we need to not because we can/want to.

That said I would definitely take Reus in a heartbeat for the price stated as we all know the press like to come up with fantasy numbers which leaves this with much to doubt. In other words it is well and truly wrong. Bayern look favourites for him and and if by some miracle we get him well I'd be glad but all the talk of selling Schrulle is a bit harsh how about we support the lad and see how he fairs after the season and then rate him. I mean it is just his second term with the club and he had a pretty decent first one.
Same goes with Cuadradoif we can get him for a steal why not but let's not all draw up names and get carried away we are doing very well in the market and obviously in the league, some posts make me wonder what would be on here if we weren't.

P.S Barkley is another good shout which goes without saying would be a good buy at the right price and right situation. We need to keep our feet steady Luke we have of late and do what we need to. :) )

Barkleys to injury prone for me if he improves next couple of seasons maybe, but he's not a winger and we've got plenty of central midfielders for now we've got van ginkel to come back and we need to keep developing Ake.
