Heard that a bid for Hulk has been agreed and potentially the move's going to go through. Seems like Abramovic is serious about catching up with Man City next season.

Still hoping we win the tile next year though - COYG!

I went on the Chelsea megastore website today to buy my 9 year old son the new Chelsea goalkeeping kit, with number 1 and his name on the back cost me £87... I think this a rediculous price considering they change their kit every season.... What do you think?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Depends. If your last name is Awumbamumbaneemabadeema then its a bargain. If your last name is Flo then its a bit pricey i'd say.

His name is Lewis....... I bit to dear for me!!! {Ed002's Note - It seems really expensive OIK.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Should of bought it from a certain Newcastle United owners company then, much cheaper, more fool you for not shopping around.

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason that makes me buy it from Chelsea store is the money is going back into the club..... Might have to start thinking a bit differently...... {Ed002's Note - Chelsea get very little of teh money from shirts sold at the store.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers Ed.... I will keep that for when they change kits next season..... {Ed002's Note - For everyone's information: The money from shirt sales goes to the manufacturer, the distributor and the retailer, who can make extra adding numbers and names to the shirts. If the club are the retailer (club shop, club website etc.) then they get the retailers cut. The manufacturer (Adidas, Warrior, Nike etc.) pay the club an amount each year which allows them to manufacture and sell the shirts using the correct logos etc.. That is how they justify the money given to the club. So if you walk in to a high street store and buy a Liverpool or Arsenal shirt - nothing goes to the club. There are a few clubs that have negotiated different deals with manufacturers (Real Madrid with Adidas and Barcelona with Nike are the two obvious examples) based upon joint reselling ventures. So the income from shirts is fixed to the £xM or whatever Adidas, Nike etc. pay the club plus a small amount for reselling through the club retail outlets (shop, web).}

Just a thought, I'm a true Chelsea supporter and love my beloved Chelsea and I'm not on here to slag of what RDM has done over the last few months, but I personally don't think he should get the job, yes in the 2 cups he has been successful but in the league we finished 6th and when AVB was sacked we were 5th.
Hopefully we can attract a manager how will rebuild our team and bring us back the Premier league...
Who that is I'm not sure yet.

Give me your thoughts who our next Manager should be....

Jürgen Klopp,Joachim Löw,Pep" Guardiola.if we got any 1 of these guys i would be over the moon ! but they need time and investment .i think avb would have done ok for us down the line prob came to us a season two soon.who ever comes will have the same problem exciting football whilst also replacing drogba,lampard,terry malouda ,kalou, essien,mikel maybe.do they come in and rip the team apart and spend 150 million on 7 new world class players who are ready from day 1 or do they faze the old guard out step by step .the main problem being if he spends a lot and dont win the prem he will be sacked if he dont buy big he will be slagged off for not seeing obvious problems from this season.i think the best way is to balance it out,bring 3 players in who would walk straight into the first team so our starting 11 is stronger man for man let drogba go sell malouda ,kalou essien.use the youth as much as possible carling cups and if were 3-0 up at home ect.imagine sending this younger team out in the carling cup- Thibaut Courtois-Ryan Bertrand-luiz-cahil- Hutchinson. -romeu-McEachran- Kevin De Bruyne-Lucas Piazon-mata - Lukaku .i think this is a very good young team and i left out marin, sturidge.if these players played for arsenal most would be playing by now i realy think this is a class young team and the future looks very bright for us we just have to get these kids in and the old guard out without to many problems. blue canton

Someone who imposes respect and proven track record. No Capello or Rafa though

Agree1 Disagree0

If we can not get Jose back then we should keep Robbie, both Jose and pep have never had to undertake the task of rebuilding a team both have only ever had to make slight adjustments, as for the point raised regards where we finished in the league I believe had we not changed manager we would have finished even lower down.

Agree1 Disagree3

What and di matteo can? i saw earlier he sd we dont need a rebuild, bollox he will stick with mikel & lampard and we will end up 6th again u wait

Agree0 Disagree1

Thanks for your posts, I'm completely undecided who our next Manager should be, still not sure RDM could rebuild a team either. The special one is the one for me but can't see it happening!!!

Does anyone know who will be in the likely starting eleven for Bayern Munich in the final?

Would be appreciated!

I asked about the Bayern line up, not Chelsea's!

They played a 4-2-3-1 throughout the entire season and with the players that are banned for the final this is what it will most likely look like:

Neuer

Rafinha-Van Buyten-Boateng-Lahm

Tymoshchuk-Schweinsteiger

Robben Kroos Ribery

Gomez

Subs: Contento, Müller, Butt (GK), Pranjic, Olic, Petersen

Müller might as well slide in the starting eleven for Kroos with Kroos pushing Tymo to the bench but both players are nowhere near as effective that way compared to playing in their preferred position.

Contento may start as left back with Lahm switching sides to play against Mata though it is unlikely.

Apart from potentially Müller their bench is somewhat unimpressive which might make the difference down the line.

Neuer had a pretty bad game in the German Cup final against Dortmund, let's hope he does it again come Saturday. :)

Cheers

Wouldn't you want a more solid defensive midfield at the start of the game and then when the game opens up bring on mata+i added all the old boys knowing that it may be their last game eve for chelsea and apart from ferreira none has won a champions league..mata won't start he will come on later in the match,torres will start before he starts

the team next year

Ramires Lampard
MATA
HULK Lavezzi
Torres

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Very solid i just think we might go back to a 4-3-3 next season with Moutinho replacing Lampard and Marin on the left instead of Lavezzi who is already too old for what Chelsea are looking for {Ed002's Note - Lavezzi is not too old. There is interest in Lavezzi from several clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus, Zenit, PSG and particularly Inter and AC Milan. I think it would take a very high cash offer - more than 30M euros, some trading or a third-party ownership deal bid to get Napoli to sell the player who is unwilling to extend his existing contract which runs to 2015. Inter have offered 15M euro plus Marco Faraoni, Goran Pandev and Joel Obi but that offer is not acceptable to Napoli.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Luiz and ivan will both be gone ,great defenders should not be sold !

Carefree

Agree0 Disagree0

Lavezzi is what 27 now?Marin is 23 they play the same position we won't spend that amount of money on a 27 year old player not after the torres disaster(note i still believe el Nino will come good just not 50m pounds good)
