Jogi Loew said in his post matc interview Abramovich visited his team's training session and had a long conversation with Schweinsteiger about the UCL final strange why they would let him visit there training session before such a big game.

CFC1905 {Ed002's Note - Plenty of people visit training sessions.}

Well he played a hell of a game.

are Chelsea gonna sign any English/British players this summer? atm wel probably only have 3 starting most games next season: Terry, Lampard and Cole. We need to sort this out. One player i would love to see is a young cm who can play with McEachran, would like to see Jonathon Dos Santos or Joe Allen {Ed002's Note - You want Jonathon Dos Santos - the well known British player?}

In:
Hulk
Hazard
Martinez
Maybe falcao
Out: Luiz
Drogba
Malouda

cech
ivanovic martinez terry cole
Ramires lampard hulk
hazard
torres falcao

Believable0 Unbelievable9

Mata? And I'm fairly certain Martinez only provided cover at CB. His preferred position is CDM. And what exactly have Cahill and Luiz done to warrant being left out?

Melbourne CFC

Agree7 Disagree0

You want to sell Luiz? He's in my opinion our best defender and his infrequent mistakes will be ironed out as he matures.

Rowan

Agree3 Disagree0

Well guys, I guess the original poster spends most of his time playing Fifa. I mean that's the only reason anyone who actually watched us play last season would forget Luiz, cahill and Mata. I know we all have our opinions but some posts are getting quite ridiculous really.

Hi Ed(s) - from your responses to quite a few questions now it seems that the club arent actively looking at a top class central midfielder, which is a surprise to me as it was an area of the side last season that seemed in need of something fresh. Should Meireles leave are you aware of any targets they could move for, and if so are we talking "squad" quality or first 11 class? (Refraining from asking about Modric although I think he's got whats needed in terms of tempo and passing over various ranges )

Cheers {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have enquired after a number of midfiled players.}

Does anyone eles think we should have tried to help rangers before they went bust, they mostly seem to follow us as theyer english team any one eles think we should at least offer some support to there fans?

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Been thinkinf for a while that if their transfer embargo had stuck we should offer a few of our younger players such as chabloha etc on loan to help them out {Ed002's Note - Chalobah cannot go on loan yet.}

Agree2 Disagree1

No, if you break the rules, as they have done you should suffer the consequences. at most give them a pre season friendly which might bring in some cash

Agree2 Disagree5

Even if we buy there goalie as a back up or buy shares can that be done

Agree1 Disagree0

As someone with Irish catholic parents,Rangers were always the enemy to me and the team i hated above all others (even spurs),I have changed since we won the champions league ,to see so many geniune posts of support and hearing of Champions league parties in Glasgow did touch me.Glasgow Rangers are a grand old club and deserve some help and thats coming from a "Tim"

Battersea Boy

Agree2 Disagree2

Rangers fans have always backed us and its them that are being punished not there club, i think we should stage a show of support for them. Why should they be allowed to die because if the actions of a few greedy men? Personally i would rather we bought 35million pounds of rangers than hulk. It mite sound extreme but we will always have our club to support, im sure most here wont agree about the hulk statment but its just how i feel about rangers after there great support they give us

Agree2 Disagree1

Buying shares can be done because ironically Rangers have/had a share in Arsenal at one point

I'm a bit 50/50 on the appointment of RDM. There is no doubt he loves the club and got great results in F.A cup and our greatest ever result in champions league. Having said that results in premiership where not very good but at the same time there was not many quality managers available. We got through certain matches playing negative football which I hope will change with the signings of younger players with quality and pace. Regarding signings I hope we stick to our guns regarding hulk and not be held to ransom as I don't think he is that good anyway. He has quality but I'm sure we could get someone else for cheaper who works a lot harder for the team.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Yer me 2. barcelona fine play lik we did. munich even though we won was terrible. we should always play like we did against napoli 2nd leg, spurs fa cup. but i dont think he will with marin n hazardcmin in.

Agree2 Disagree0

Ive been saying that and curt and his gang jumped on my back .been chelsea 47 years but just get called plastic fan if you dont agree with them .youll see

Agree2 Disagree0

Who do u think Is in curt's gang ?
Please don't put me in that bracket.
Cfcmatt.

Agree1 Disagree0

He took over the team in dissaray, AVB had destroyed confidence. RDM got the players back on side, went back to basics and made us more solid as a team. The fixtures we had were ridiculous we had a hell of a run where we were playing top teams every 3 days, he did his best to rotate the players and try and keep them all fresh. We beat Napoli, beat Benfica home and away, beat spurs fa cup semi, beat Barca at home drew 2-2 away, beat Liverpool Fa cup final and Beat Bayern on penalties on there own ground all with the weakest Chelsea squad in the last 8 years.

Agree1 Disagree1

Im not being funny the players should of still played for the fans, AVB would of succeeded, its like porto played some amazing passing football and fas paced, i know they won it again this season but the football wasnt as good on the eye. should of let him have this season. but i cant comlain about our wins

Hello ED,
How art thou ? If RDM does stay on a 1 year contract, would he be given an assistant by the powers from above or would he be able to to choose all his own staff ?
And would he have much if any say in transfers ?
Thanks

RDM signs two year contract according to Chelsea TV. Good for him he deserves it.

Tk

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Yer agreed mate

werent really another choice after what he done

people might of slated his tactics i think they were spot on

think people just assumed if guadiola come to chelsea we would win everything next year

not quite that simple

curt

Agree5 Disagree3

Don't underestimate our intelligence curt. Nobody said that we want Pep so that we win trophies straight away. We want Pep because he has proven he can build a team like Barca out of young talent something that RDM has not done. So RDM is a risk as I see it. We have bought all these young players we need somebody who can bring them on. Proitos.

Agree1 Disagree1

Im not under estimating anyones intelligence

im just pointing a fact out

and he didnt really bring through that many youngsters until last year

most of the team was what he started with

curt

Agree2 Disagree1

Curt why would we expect pepe to win every game..he didnt do that with the best team in the world!!

Agree0 Disagree1

I dont know you answer that one because your the one expecting it

otherwise you wouldnt be so against roberto being manager

he would do a much better job than guadiola anyway

curt

Agree2 Disagree2

Curt, do you even read what you type?

Coming from someone who comments on a very large percentage of posts!

Perhaps if you don't comment on so many things, people won't reply with their own opinions which may sometimes differ from your own, obviously correct ones.

Curt, if you have the intelligence to interpret my post; you will see that I said that rvp had a bad game and So people should think before slagging off Torres, as rvp is a

Why ,the hell ,Torres is getting bashed around and not RVP!This is completely bonkers and downright bias. The guy played for 15 minutes while RVP played far worse for 90 minutes against a Danish defense that has no where near the defensive capabilities of the Italians.Another thing is that the performances of players in Euros can have liitle or no impact on the club career of players like Cech he performance against the Greeks and the Russians was horrendous ,does that make him a bad keeper for Chelsea.Bashing only Torres is completely ridiculous,if we fans get carried away with the media then we are not real fans.Lets have a bit of faith(players like him always come good) and let the hypocrites bark as they always do.
roan

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Torres is a Chelsea player and RVP is an Arsenal player. I think it's appropriate if we comment on our own player's problems first.

Agree1 Disagree0

Agreed mate just because persie's played immense all season and torres hasnt everyone slates torres for missing a few chances where as like you say persie played shockingly all game and everyone turns a blind eye

curt

Agree0 Disagree3

Roan I think your actually the one being bias. Torres is getting stick because he had a poor season, and the game against Italy where I think he did okay when he came on, but should have taken one of the chances that came his way , while on the other hand RVP scored 42 goals in all competitions last season and can't get bashed around because of one bad game. That also explains why Cech doesn't get stick aswell,he is one of the best Keepers in the world (proved he is still up there against Munich) and a couple of games wouldn't change that.
Look we all want Fernando to do well, but at what cause? Are we willing to risk next season hoping he would come good?! I don't mind fans being bias to their clubs and players , but really we need to acess Torres strictly in the next month to see if he is improving. His got his movement back and he is a litlle more confident, but the finishing is still lacking sadly. So as we all hope he comes good, let's also understand if some fans are frustrated, cause I tell you what we've all supported him since he came in. Remember we all want what's best for the club. I do believe he would be great next season. Come on EL NiNO! shut em up!:)

Dzagorev has the potential to be a class player. He can pick a pass ,can score goals and has good vision. He plays mostly as a attacking midfielder but can also play as a central midfielder. If we buy him he can be easily molded into a Lampard type midfielder. He is one of the best young midfielders around and will be risk worth taking. Most of all he is very creative.
roan

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Once again i agree with that one

curt

Agree4 Disagree3

We should take a chance on him as he is able to move on a free transfer in January and I'm sure would not demand huge wages. The lad has the potential to be a great player for free

Agree2 Disagree0

The club signed Kevin De Bruyne in January. I see him eventually moving into the middle and playing box to box. I think everyone just needs to calm down and enjoy the Euros. Anyone who reads this site regularly know who the targets are, that will not change on the basis of two games.

Blue25

Hey ed just wondering would Chelsea be interested in signing dzagoev after all he seems like bright young player with the hunger for goals. {Ed002's Note - You have MOTD Fever.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ive all ways liked dzagoev myself. i couldnt wait to see how he does in the euros. but i aint getting to excited just yet. if they qualify from their group and he plays well against the italys, the spains & netherlands then i will scream and shout for his signature. ive always been wary of signing players from the russian league so the euros is where he can prove himself. 3 goals in two games very good but then again poland and czechs defence are terrible, so we shall see. the other bit what puts me off is another player like this then mcEachran, piazon, de bruyne will stand less of a chance, i want these to succeed. BLUEBOY1

Agree1 Disagree0

To be honest though its hard to rate him against the italys and spains he plays for russia he cant take these sorts of teams on alone

curt {Ed002's Note - Dzagoev has interested Chelsea in the past but Arsenal have shown a lot of interest this past year including sending a contingent to watch him play in Moscow back last summer. He will be available on a free transfer at the end of the year, not in the summer.}

Agree1 Disagree3

I just think players that play for the likes of russia cant be judged when playing againsts spain etc because they will look terrible against spain

curt

Agree1 Disagree2

Not always the case maybe against spain because of the possession they get but italy, portugal he can prove if he is that good. who d russia get next round if they top their group or come 2nd? BLUEBOY1

Agree1 Disagree0

I think its group a winners vs group b runners up

group a runners up vs group b winners

and same for the other 2 groups i might be wrong though

all i know is if we qualify we could end up playing spain in the next round

Whats all this fuss about Dzageov? (sorry if thats the wrong spelling)

Apart from maybe a few years on Lamps, what has he got that we haven't?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Lampard is passed it and was so two years ago

Agree2 Disagree3

Lampard was past it 2 years ago

if you say so

curt

Agree1 Disagree6

Yes Lamps is getting on, but he is certainly not passed it. He may not be as good as he used to be but considering he was our Top Goalscorer last Season, got the 3rd most assists and along with countless high performances especially against Barca and Bayern he has still got another year or 2 in him. Top Goalscorer even though AVB left him out many times while he took over? Not bad if i say so...

Davies

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah i agree davies but unamed said hes passed it so it must be true .....

to be honest he could go longer than 2 more years he never had pace so its not like hes got to worry about that

curt

Agree0 Disagree3

Lampard wont be a starter next year, ramires and a holding. im starting to go of the whole hulk thing now, anyone else were intrested in who can play right side? i quite like iker munian, but they wanted 40 mill for him BLUEBOY1

even if hulk cost more id prefer him over munain
