is there any truth to the drogba coming back as player coach?
would be a good move in my opinion, just his presence in the changing room is enough.

Hey Ed018, do you know what happend with regards to our interest in Robeto Firmino? I think he's a cracking player at just 22. Brazil should have definitely brought him for the world cup and not Jo might have well made the difference for them.
He Would be a great signing for us IMO, 16goals and 12 assists last season (most against the top german sides). He can also fair well as a loan striker. A younger and better choice to Lavezzi in my eyes. Thanks.

Went to the pub last night, got my 5 friends to come out to the beer garden with me. We sat around a table, held our pints of old speckled hen in both hands and pointed the glasses to the sky. We then said, in one voice, "please whoever is listening, make ed02 come back to the Chelsea site". A moment later a seagull flew over, and rubbish all over my mate Steve, who is a arsenal supporter, and the only one amongst us who does not support chelsea. Would it make a difference if I went to church this morning ed02?

In the absence of ed02 my thoughts on likely transfers. luis in at LB. If Zouma goes on loan a CB to come in. (Varrane being preferred choice). If Mikel goes a defensive midfielder to come in. (Pogba preferred choice but more likely Khaderia or Song). Striker to come to compete with Costa and Torres ( yes, I think he will stay), not sure who though. I also think Lavezzi may well join, he really is a Jose type player, hard working and talented.
I expect Bertrand, Kakuta, McCreaken, Romeau, Moses, Marin, Ba, Essien and Lukaku to be sold with all the younger players going on loan other than maybe Nathan Ake and/or Patrick Van Aarnolt.

Of we miss out on pogba why don't we just snatch Vidal of utd, be brilliant signing either way, just turned 27 so still 4years at top of his game?

I still think there is a surprise huge signing for us out there this summer. Who? Not sure, cause apparently everyone is either too expensive, we have moved on or being linked with others. let's wait and see who we go for.
Personally i'd go for Gundogan or Barkley if we don't get Pogba.
I personally don't think we're going to get that huge midfield signing, unfortunately. Pogba prolly won't happen, I think Barkley won't either and I'd stay well clear of Gundogan after that horrible injury. I'm afraid Vidal will join United, so that will be a no go as well. Not sure what other options there are for central midfield.
I'm curious though whether we could get Rabiot off of PSG. He's not as good as other potential targets YET, but the boy's clearly got a bucket load of talent.

Well Jack, not necessarily a "huge midfield signing". Just a huge one. We always almost get one in, not just sure who at the moment. As for Barkley don't think we'll go for him much less get him, atleast not this summer just my personal call, and Gundogan I honestly think he would be fine, but also a very long shot. Think Jose would get who he wants at the end of the summer so looking forward to the new season.
That's also what I take comfort in. Jose usually gets the players he wants, so if he thinks we're fine then I believe we'll be fine. I'm very excited by the upcoming season as well, just can't wait!
Gudoghen has out on a lot of weight and had that injury so be constant fitness tests and maybe not the brilliant player he was. Pogba won't happen unfortunately and maybe Barkley won't but I agree that there's a big signing still in store. PSG will surely have to sell. Maybe cavani? Not that I've been impressed all that but with Ba, eto'o, Torres likely to go then we will need another striker, also like to add rumours of lukaku to Liverpool. No way, have we not learned our lesson of Sturridge scoring goals! Sell abroad. Possibly Dortmund and get aubameyang, shurrle is going to be a star next season and I was not his biggest fan last season as frustrates me at times, salah is there remember so linked with pastore Lavezzi etc pointless as we have width. Buzzing for new season to start.

Hi ed know that I am unlikely to get an Answer but has there been any change with reus as barca now have Suarez? Would Chelsea be interested in him if he became available? Thanks as always ed.
