Cech

Vdw Subotic/Terry Luiz Cole

Derossi
Ramires/Pastore Nasri

Aguero Torres Hulk

Bench Lampard cortois ivanovic mceach
Sturridge.......

This team would own the EPL AND The champions league ... I know it's the upper side of 200 mill in transfers but it's nothing roman can't afford....

Believable4 Unbelievable15

I wouldn't get your hopes up

Agree15 Disagree2

It has nothing to do with what Roman can afford (he could afford to buy more teams if he wanted) We have to abide by the Financial Fair Play rules. We can't spend more than we can generate. So unless we build a bigger stadium to generate more gate revenues, and sell a bunch of shirts, like the other guy said, I wouldn't get your hopes up...

Hi Ed,
I've been led to believe that 32m + Sturridge will be the last offer made by Chelsea. Personally we should bite the bullet and just pay 35m. (Sturridge could make an impact next season). That i think would release Modric, cause according to sources Rednapp only has limited funds available but Levy wants money for the stadium. And they are already looking at a replacement.

Believable1 Unbelievable16

Come on... no way is Modric worth £35M, nor is Sturridge only worth £3M. You sound like a bloody Spuds supporter.

Have we bid for Tiote EDS?

Believable1 Unbelievable16

Drogba + 25m for Modric
Alex + 10m for nasri
De Rossi 20m
Cahill 16m + Sturridge on loan
Falcao 26m
Parker in on loan
Hulk 40m
All deals that could be done instead of wasting time on neymar and pastore

Believable0 Unbelievable19

No way would I want to see feigns and Alex at a rival teams, on his day drogba is unplayable and Alex is solid,

Agree1 Disagree16

Correction.. Drogba and Alex

Agree0 Disagree15

1. So basically Drogba is only worth a few million pounds?

2. You are aware of Hulks escape clause triggers at approx. £90M?

To the second guy - you realise that "unplayable" means that he's not capable of or suitable for being played haha... if you don't want to see him at a rival team we would have to sell him to a non UEFA club, because there is always a chance that we'll meet one in the CL.

Agree15 Disagree1

Lol on his day drogba is world class and a match winner and by rival teams I mean English premier league team.. I.e spurs, utd, city etc, if he were to let him go a part exchange with R.Madrid for di Maria or possibly kaka Would be better option Also any chance or intreats in young Eriksson from Ajax?cheers ED'S

Agree0 Disagree15

I know what you meant by "rival teams". But aren't top sides from the other top UEFA leagues rivals as well? We have to play someone in the CL other than Prrm. clubs.

On his day Drogba WAS world class. It's not healthy to be in denial. He's not the player that he once was. He couldn't even score one v one against a League One keeper yesterday.

Agree14 Disagree0

I just feel that out of drogba, Anelka and kalou, drogba is far the better player and if we start unloading to many player like drog we will have problem we had last season when we got rid of deco, cole belleti carvelho, we lacked te depth, And it was first Game of pre season give bloke s chance, anyway that's just my humble opinion lol {Ed018's Note - dont forget ballack}

Agree0 Disagree11

Exactly, as much as we need players in we need a big squad with some quality, think last season would have been alot better with ballack etc still there {Ed018's Note - i hated to see ballack go, i know he struggled with injuries last year at Leverkusen but if he'd been at chelsea and been fit he would have made a difference}

Agree0 Disagree11

I was sad to see Ballack go. He did much more than just score goals.

I wouldn't shed a tear if some of our current squad were to leave though, Drogba included. Thank you very much, but your time as come and gone. Time for some new blood.

How can you even list Kalou with Anelka and Drogba without laughing?

Agree9 Disagree0

Are you a Chelsea fan? I feel Anelka and kalou should be sold on or used as a bargaining make weight but I wouldn't say they are laughable, drogba is still a quality player and is something different up top, if AVB wants to change from fast players he can use drog up top, any team in europe would have him in there squad, yeah ballack was underrated at us for a while but missed when he was gone, also deco Awesome player but we signed him one or two years late. So what's your realistic starting 11 for nxt season?,

Agree0 Disagree10

No, I said how can you list Kalou with the other 2. I happen to like Anelka. On the other hand, I think that Kalou is useless. He'd probably shine in a lesser league, but his glowing moments in a blue shirt are too few for my liking, although he does show up for the big matches unlike Malouda...

Of course I'm a Chelsea supporter; long time. In fact, my favorite all-time Chelsea players are not on the current squad, with only a few of them being from the past decade.

I'm just not one of those blue coloured lens supporters who tries to hold onto past accomplishments. I see the need for constant improvement every season. All of the top clubs in the world aren't scared of change for the greater good, why shouldn't we be? It was obvious to see that our long term plan backfired last season.

Selling Drogba would be good financially imho. I'm tired of letting players go on free transfer or for next to nothing. It's time that Chelsea was proactive and recognised when certain players had slipped in form, but were still marketable.

I am losing my mind ovber this market right now all our targets are staying put moving to other clubs wages too high what the hell and now essien injured thats a key player for chelsea we need someone to fill that gap or chelsea can say bye bye to everything

Nasri
Pastore claims hes not leaving italy
Aguero owners claim hes not for sale
Modric again owners claim hes not for sale but has a chance of joining cus he wants to move to chelsea
neymar either staying at santos or Real Madrid
falcao interest seems to have gone down a good bit
chelsea need players like all them listed above if they are to challenge for anything next season anything next season.
I thought Chelsea were going to speng BIG and were not even close to signing our FIRST player what big players do chelsea plan on signing thats what I want to know anyone got any ideas please let me know

CHEERS (ace05)

Believable5 Unbelievable16

Ya thats true.i'm tired of waiting aswell.last season we finished trophless with our ageing squard.we need new blood in our squard.arsenal, liverpool and both manchester have all purchased..please lets get modric, de rossi, falcou and vdw.that would only cost us below the 80m mark.

Agree4 Disagree17

Well as for as I know Modric is the one target that seems to be the most likely to come as he hjas said he wants to join and who would you rather modric or sneijder I would choose Modric for a few reasons hes proven in the epl hes younger then sneijder. works his socks off and is cheaper then sneijder I dont see all them transfers happening tbh I do see falcao modric and maybe even vdw I never knew chelsea were interested in De Rossi but I dont think that will happen as this is the first I am hearing of it and thanks for the opion manu u are taking over the transfers this summer I HATE UTD and they have young and da gae and possibly sneijder aswell but that deal will only happen inter say is if manu give them Nani

(ace05)

Agree4 Disagree15

Don't be naive. Just because a player wants to come to Chelsea doesn't make him more likely to come than other players. More than often a player spouts off how much he wants to go to club B so his existing club will negotiate an extension with him. Spurs could care less how much Modric "wants to come" to Chelsea.

If spurs are demanding a large fee for modric why don't Chelsea move for Sneijder Ed?thanks {Ed018's Note - Sneijder wouldnt be any cheaper}

Indeed he wouldnt, but he is a better player. Maybe not with the future career that Modric has, but still a better deal all round i feel...

Believable0 Unbelievable18

If your to spend big money on modric or sneijder I would rather go for Modric simple reasons hes younger then Sneijder proven in the epl and is cheaper and wants to join Sneijder will only move to manu only if nani is part of the deal thats why the 35m got rejected
(ace05)

Agree2 Disagree16

What kind of rationale is that, "younger and cheaper"? Sniejder is bette, r hands down. If they are going for the same price, buy the better player.

so we know the three players we got first refusal on from fluminese

Ronan Capixaba - interview in brazil site saying chelsea bought 50% of him and hell come chels next year when 18 said coss of deco deal they watched tournament and decided on three players is a left back

wallace - own 40% rb looked quality in u17 wcup very alvez like

rafael pernao - first refusal am always on the bench for the first team and we beat mcity for him (pics of him wid robinho at city)

guess there help piazon to settle in with brazilians around his age there

Believable0 Unbelievable18

"very alvez like"

Dani Alves? That's a positive thing??

Agree17 Disagree1

Why do Chelsea have such strong links with Fluminese?

Agree0 Disagree15

Alves is an overrated jerk.

Agree15 Disagree1

"Why do Chelsea have such strong links with Fluminese?"

Ed could probably answer this better, but it may have something to do with the Deco deal. {Ed018's Note - yes it does, though i dont remember the exact details}
