Sturridge will be as crap as he was. He will score goals. But he won't become a star striker. No way.

Sturridge entirely selfish, not a team player

We need a real good winger.. Someone to hug the touch line and take players on.. Hazard one side mata in middle and a winger to take that RW spot..

I think that's why Rafa liked putting Moses in the the team.

Ed002 I notice you have said on the Liverpool page that Torres will be leaving Chelsea in the summer.
I don't think I have read this on here so is this a new development ?
Thanks
S.S. {Ed002's Note - It is nothing new.}

Torres is a curse S.S... when he plays he is useless, when he sits on the bench or have a "bad" game lol he spreads his negative attitude to rest of the team.

Torres is not the curse. I don't consider winning the champions league a curse. The no.9 shirt is the curse.

The shirt is a curse. We should retire the number.

Jimmy, Luca, Kerry and Ossie all managed to wear it and score goals.

Ed, any truth to the rumours that Torres wasn't given a proper medical because we signed him at the last minute? Do his current problems stem from previous injuries that have cost him some pace? What's the view of the club on why he is underperforming? And is there real interest from Atletico Madrid in Torres this window? {Ed002's Note - I have no interest in such matters. Sorry.}
Believable2
Unbelievable0
There wasn't time for his medical as everything happened so late.. Carroll only just for his done on time but Torres didnt.. I see that on a website forms from the top doctor from Liverpool university who is also lfc head doctor

Cant believe im saying this but I would not be too upset if rafa stayed for a while. Pretty sure he's off to Madrid come the summer and i think a fair chance madrids manager will be coming to west London. With Torres looking likely at athletico and falcao coming the other way could be like swap shop, just need posh paws.

Thinking about Guardiola and I am firm beliver that no one is perfect is that our project is far more attractive than any other club. We have invested in young talent and any manager with the ambition would take the job on provided Roman backed off a little. So, ok let's see what is Pep made of then. If he refuses then well, his loss. Proitos

He is never gonna come! 3 defeats and roman will axe him! anyway he is the biggest fruad in football i could win stuff with barca! he had the best player in the world scoring 90+ goals let him deal with old sulky bollo*cks then we see wot a good boss he is!

Listening to kevin/pinky say HE could "win stuff" with barca i doubt it from the drivel he puts on here that he could even manage a p**s up in a brewery that comment alone shows how little he knows about football in general.

Alan hansen actually said something that made sense. When we play well we are exceptional and win, but when we play badly we lose. Man you however play badly and still win. This is the difference because we are a team in transition and have not yet got the experience/know how to get a result when playing badly. Mind you we have not got Rvp. How many times to united get a winner after 80 mins. Pete
Believable6
Unbelievable1
Yeah because UTD can play bad and quality rvp has he can score out of nothing.. We have Torres who can't score from a chance let alone a half chance,, comes down to a world class goal scorer

In many games this season we have effectively been playing with ten men.
Had we had a potent goals corer we would have been a lot closer to man utd. Not exactly a revalation I know, but a reason to be confident when we get a top striker to add to ba.
Agree3
Disagree3
Man you can play bad and win because they have strikers who can score from nothing, we rely on our midfielders to create chances so if theyre not performing we don't have a striker who can create a chance for himself. rvp, rooney can and hernandez is so good at poaching a goal. hopefully with ba we'll have that "right place right time" striker
Agree3

Man you also get alot of help ie decisions in games, like at the bridge this season.

why do people keep banging on about rafa not liking oscar! rafa will set up the team according to the teams we play! your not gonna play oscar away to stoke he would get killed! personally you can't play hazard, mata and oscar 2gether its to lightwieght and that's why RDM team had no balance to it! we look so much better with moses cos he can hold up the ball can't play with 3 number 10skevinCFC

Bertrand is more defensive. I have no problem with starting Bertrand away from home. It works. But playing him against Fulham at home was a joke.

Just a personal opinion. It would be a nice a nive move Alex Song as he looks unsettled in Barca. He will go a long way in solving Chelsea's midfield. He's young and a proven epl player. Any thoughts guys. Cheers! Tusole

Ed - Do you see Torres and Demba Ba starting a game together, or do you think it is either one or the other
also why does Rafa not like Oscar {Ed002's Note - I have no idea if they would start a game together and have no idea where you get the idea that the manager dislikes Oscar.}

Just so funny to me how every media outlet in brittian are suddenly concerned about our team and our level of experience if we don't resign Lamps. Some are saying he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch today and even if he can't sustain a 3 year contract its still worth it because he's our best player right now.
I not sure what's all behind this but my questions are
1. Since when does the media in general give a s**t about us?
2. Where was all this for Drogs(who imo was still in form) last year and will they have the same sentiment for JT who they love to criticize?
Do the actually watch our games and where was Lamps when we enjoyed our best run of results earlier in the year?

I'm sure drogba was offered a new contract but it was only a 1 year contract. Lampard has not been offered anything.

Hello Chelsea fans, can I just say that the fans who are against rafael Benitez ought to be ashamed of yourselves. The man has been brought in on a tempory basis, and in fairness your football has become much better. Why not get off his back because come May he will have use in 2nd or 3rd a lot better than use were going to do under de Matteo. And yes if you haven't already guessed I'm a liverpool fan and you lot don't know how lucky you are to have him on charge.

The beautiful game, much like the game of life, can sometimes produce results that confounds and make no sense. We thoroughly dominate two matches at home and create a lot of chances and yet score nothing and come away with two loses, yet we go to the toughest stadium to get a result and field a more defensive lineup, play fairly even with stoke for the 1st 55 min and were gifted 2 goals (just like we gave Swansea) and end up winning by 4. That's why I wrote after the Swansea match that we were just unlucky, sometimes there is no good answer or explanation.
