I tremendous price but James Rodriguez would find the Premiership far too intense for his style of play; if we bought from RM I would rather take Isco. As much as I prefer Alonso to Rahman I do not think he is the answer and I think we should spend some money on that side.

I think Oscar doesn't really want to move. He already refused a Chinese club and their big money once, he'll do it again.
Getting 52 million for him or similar big money would be very good business though. He simply hasn't developed the way we all thought he would. Good player, but I don't see which spot he'd take in our current formation and squad.

Not perfect for him, to be fair, but perfect for the club. I got your joke though but I'm sure Oscar has ambition to play regularly and dreams to continue to represent Brazil although he might find that more difficult than breaking into our starting 11.

I think the issue with Oscar has been the amount of games he's had to play and the lack of competition in our squad has meant he's probably rested on his laurels a bit and not pushed on.
