Im hoping we put in a big bid for dybala 1 chouce who would you like to see us bid for?

Personally I'd pay Juve anything they asked for Dybala but I don't think he's interested in either Chelsea or England.

Same. I think he is as good as Hazard plus he's 4 years younger.

Boy is overrated. He's good but definately not as good as Hazard. Imagine Hazard in that Mediocre Serie A, he will dominate and rip them apart. A question, how many time have you guys watched Dybala live?

13 Jun 2017 12:31:42
I can say I've watched him enough times to say, he would excel in any league. He's that good. I know it's saying a lot that he's as good as Hazard but personally I believe so. Free kicks, corners, penalties, technically he is world class, maybe he's not that quick off the ball but for a player his size, Dybala is very strong.

He would be player that if we signed this summer would put us up there with Barca, Munich and not far from Real.
Dybala Lukaku Hazard our very own MSN. A guy can dream.

Only that makes it DHL
At least you will get some distance with that and the contracts delivered.

Ousmanne Dembele of Dortmund.

It really is a shame the way things have ended with Costa. He's in my opinion one of the best all round strikers out there, left foot, right foot, head, strength and a decent burst of pace. The 2/ 3 seasons he's been here and on form we've won the league with Diego our top scorer. I'm gutted to see him go as he also has that fight and determination we've seen over the past few seasons. If Lukaku joins he has big boots to fill but we'll get behind him and hopefully he hits the ground running. In Conte we trust.

Me too. It's awful seeing a lot of Chelsea fans saying he's got poor dribbling and passing wait until they see Lukaku's. It's so hard to find a top striker and Costa presses from the front also Lukaku won't do that.

13 Jun 2017 04:43:04
I think he's a kn*b. He is trying to cause a discord in the team before going. What does that say about him?

13 Jun 2017 14:15:08
Costa's behaviour was and is the worry. Are you going to end up with ten men when he meets an aggressive defender or he accumulates books leading to suspension? He goes looking for trouble which makes it worse BUT he has served us well with goals and when not scoring he does occupy defenders. However, unless it is on a plate he is no good in the air hence our poor record of aerial crosses. We need someone with controlled aggression, good with both feet inside and outside the box and also good in the air and I for one will not miss him.

Agree1 Disagree0

13 Jun 2017 17:45:45
I think I read an article about Lukakus lack for aerial threat. Considering his height and size he doesn't actually score many headers. I believe the article was about Lukaku being unhappy at the start of the season about Everton's style of play as he didn't want to be getting on the end of crosses and preferred to be running on to through balls.

Agree0 Disagree1

13 Jun 2017 18:58:48
i don't know about that article fuser, since being linked with lukaku i've watched all his goals from last season over and over again, he scored about 7 or 8 from crosses, so about 30% of his goals from crosses not all headers though.

13 Jun 2017 21:39:21
Can't be worse than Costa in the air, I think I can count on one hand the amount of balls he wins in the air from goal kicks and long balls this season. The guy doesn't even jump.
Can't fault the rest of his game though!

12 Jun 2017 21:44:02
I know window not even open but the players we are linked with has me worried. all I can see so far is with costa out and lukaku in we have weakened team. not linked with anyone who really excites me or linked with anyone who our rivals would be jealous or gutted about, long way to go yet though.

Afternoon Ed,

What is the situation with James?

Do we still hold an interest, is price still an issue? In your opinion will he leave Madrid this summer?

Does anyone have news about Baba Rehman. When he will be fit to play games.
If we do not sign any new left back will he be kept in squad as back up?

We released solanke why? Top scorer in u20 World Cup. Will bite us in the future.

{Ed002's Note - Solanke was not released. Solanke's contract ran out after Chelsea would not be held to ransom.}

Not likely club will go after Verratti. Has no interest in coming unfortunately. Ed002 has mentioned this before, hence interest was dropped before.

Absolute top quality player, the type we should be prioritising. Club don't seem comfortable competing for that bracket of player however anyway as an article I read recently pointed out.

Bakayoko looks like he will be the one we get with Batshuayi going the other way in some capacity.

Mbappe not happening, like Verratti, player has eyes for another club and, like Verratti, that bracket of player is out of our reach regards finances and the level of interest in the player.

Hope Lukaku can be done soon but inherently unlikely with Everton just being a pain in the arse to have to deal with and, again, the fee involved may make us look elsewhere.

Alex Sandro feels like Koulibaly last year, would be great but not going to happen unless we fork out a world record fee for a left back, not going to happen judging on recent history.

With Bonucci, feels like that ship sailed last year, if Juventus are ready to let him go, must be a reason why.

Van Dijk not happening due to him being stupid enough to sign a SIX year contract as recently as last season. Southampton, like Everton with Stones, well within their rights to command a stupid fee.

Moral of the story, don't sign long term contracts and then ask to leave the year after. Difficult to see who we turn to for centre half. Latest reports seem to suggest that the club will evaluate the situation after Christensen begins Pre Season. May be a late burner in to August if we do sign one.

Sad that Diego is as good as gone, loved him to pieces, despite him being bonkers at times. Great player. However seems as though he has wanted out ever since he came.

Have some slight worries of our creativity in midfield if Bakayoko goes through. Fabregas the only one really who offers any final third guile. Hence why a Tolisso or a Verratti WOULD be ideal but then again if my aunt had bollocks, she'd be my uncle.

Be interesting to see what or if anything happens, can not afford to sit back like the last two title wins.

Has to be a contender for most negative post of the year! We will make signings and Conte knows what he wants. Calm down, the window hasn't even officially opened yet.

Hi Ed002,are Chelsea in pursuit of Lacazette?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Please don't ask about random players - we cannot deal with. Go to the European pages and search.}

Bernardeschi looks like he could end up being a top top player just been watching a few videos albeit not always the best way to view a player but he would be an ideal replacement for hazard imo boys got some tricks and a shot that lampsy himself would be proud of which is something if i could fault the team in anyway is that lack of a player to have a pop from range only other one who does not seem to be afraid is chabolah.

would love to see this guy playing for chelsea.

him bonnuci, bakayako, sandro, lukaku roll on the the next season.

Fully agreed, Lampsy. Bernardeschi's a stud in the making. I wouldn't use him to replace Hazard, but more to play him alongside him to take some pressure and defensive focus off of Hazard. Strong, fast, good dribbler, a great shot and some really good throughballs and crosses he's capable of. He's becoming one of my favorite players.
I don't think we'll get him in the end, there just aren't enough reports linking us to him. But he'd be a real coup. Bernardeschi, Bakayoko, Lukaku and Sandro would make for a summer that keeps us in the hunt for domestic and CL glory. We don't need quantity, we need quality.

Think we are able to say Baka deal will get done and big Rom will hopefully think they will be it really unless things happen out bounds way. I will be happy with that if we ad a defender then even better.

All of the James rumors are getting old. If anything he'll end up and United, I just don't see where he would fit in our team. Cheers to a good transfer window, I'm sure we will get adequate reinforcements!

James Rodrigues is a good player.
He can play in front 3 on right side.
I personally think he will be upgrade on pedro/ willian.
He is really good in final third.
He did not have great season, as he was often kept on bench, so will be excited to prove his worth wherever he joins this summer.
11 goals and 8 assists in 1498 minutes of football is still a great achievement.
