As I finish this Oscar has just scored a lovely goal which highlights why I would like to see Cesc play a bit deeper, I think that Oscar has a great future ahead of him and I would like to see it unfold at CFC. Also imagine the passing, and running from deep with a midfield duo of Matic and Cesc, it would be phenomenal.

That must be the team for next season and then allow one or two of our promising younger players to be included in the squad. We now suit 4-2-3-1 with Matic and Fabregas controlling the midfield.

I personally wouldn't play Oscar in the centre, I'd play him wide right. He showed in the Brazil match is ability to take players on and put in quality crosses which is certainly something Chelsea lacked last season.

Completely agree. Started off slowly but has grown into the game and in the second half has been Brazil's best player. Some fantastic crossing from that wide right position.

Forgive what? he ain't done anything wrong in the first place? If anything, he has been a revelation since he signed for chelsea. I simply don't understand what people were and are expecting him to do?

You're absolutely right about Oscar MB1.
He isn't fit yet, I can only imagine how Oscar will look like when he becomesdfully fit next to Cesc.
But you have to admit that referee helped Brazilians quite a lot.

I meant forgive (in almost a non significant term) his poor display and almost non-challant attitude in the second half of last season, so easy m8. I also don't think we should sell him. He is just 22 and also going to be a good player.

Give him a brake mate. From August 2012 to December 2013 Oscar played 109 games for Chelsea and Brazil combined. After that he was injured. He wasn't fit and that is why JM couldn't relay on him.

eds. do you have any idea what's holding up the costa deal. Is it because chelsea are pushing for felipe luis and tiago also. Also a question for anyone really. If we could sign pogba, play him next to matic with fabregas behind striker . Would you be happy for oscar to move to PSG.

Yes! Purely because Pogba is CLASS. I do like Oscar a lot but, but he or pogba for the next 10-12 years. I choose Pogba. that's us bossing the midfield every single week. And also Piazon could turn out to be just as if not better than Oscar.

Agree completely Eli. Between the two it's a lot harder to find a stud centre mid than a stud #10.
