A win on Monday puts us 11 points off 4th place and a glimmer of hope ( difficult game though so not counting on it ), my point is, who would you like to take our crown as champions? I absolutely detest Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Utd so probably City for me ( assuming a Leicester or Palace type don't surprise us all ) .

I hope it's Leicester City
Because I hate all the other teams :p

But on a serious note I think it'll be someone between City and Arsenal.

Arsenal don't have it in them.

Probably city. That way they'd consider keeping peligrini around and might not drop another 150m like they did this summer.

Please not palace, it would be unbearable in Croydon. Hopefully arsenal as I have £5 bet with a mate we will finish above them. I've won a few times, but after our poor start offered him double or quits they wouldn't win the league. he bottled it.

Whilst it would be nice if Leicester beat both City and Arsenal to the title, it would be better for our chances of a top 4 spot if they would fall away at some point. Having said that I'd prefer Leicester and even Spuds get a top 4 place over Liverpool and United especially if we fail to get top4.

If we get our acts together I believe we can still make the top 4 in this season of suprises. Looks like whatever landed in West-London is relocating to the red side of Manchester.

goodevening. would love to know if chelsea has interest in bernardo silva of monaco I believe we need a left footed winger on the right wing to give some sort of balance to the team. thanks.

Hey guys, was just reading on the Liverpool page that apparently Juventus (? ) were quoted a 40 million euros asking price for Lucas Moura as they could perhaps be willing to let him go.

I'm a big fan of his, and if we are looking for another attacking mid/winger he would make a great option. With his speed and dribbling he could wreak havoc in England. I'd rather get him instead of Teixeira to be honest (though I realise Chelsea probably aren't interested) .
What do you think of him, guys? I'd love your opinion on the player as well, Ed002/Ed001/Ed018 :-)

Great work on the site these last couple of weeks, Ed002 and Ed018. You're studs! ;-)

He is a good player. A rapid, powerful and direct winger which makes him dangerous. I'd still prefer Teixeira though. Teixeira has a great goal scoring record for an attacking midfielder/winger which is something we desperately lack. Lucas doesn't seem to have that, 3 goals in 15 isn't a great return.

Easy, sell oscar to juventus buy moura from psg. All parties happy.

Lucas Moura does not score enough goals and Alex Teixeira does but in the very open Russian League; would you take him over Antoine Griezmann who scores with both feet and head?

13 Dec 2015 15:52:43
Yeah I temper my expectations on texiera with the league he plays in as well as the system that's built around him. I like Lucas Moura a lot but he kind of reminds me of Oscar in that we've constantly been waiting for him to take that next step.

Got a real simple question for you wonderful reader. Would you swap Stones for Zouma. They're vastly different centrehalfs as zouma is an absolute train while stones is incredibly developed on the ball. For me, I'd take happy 7 days a week. His physicality is absolutely scary and with the right coaching his cieling is vastly beyond stones. Maybe some of me is skeptical of stones because I feel every young player with an England nationality gets extremely overhyped.

I'll take Zouma as i've seen more of him and I believe with time he will be a defender to be reckoned with.

If we can sign Marquinhos from psg and Christiensen develop as expected we will be ok at centreback for years.

Zouma all day for me. His physicality is obviously some of the best I've seen in the game of football, and that's not just for CBs. His reading of the game has already improved a lot and should keep on getting better as he's only just 21. I also feel that while his passing is clearly below Stones', it's a bit underrated. When given a bit of time I've seen him hit some great long passes to our wingers.
Stones is better on the ball, that's for sure. And I have to admit I was wrong about him during the summer as I thought he wasn't that good defending wise. Stones is really good defender already, but Zouma is as well. And obviously this is very subjective, but I see more of a leader in Zouma than in Stones. That's a good trait to have.

That's a hard one, I wouldn't swap zouma but every time I see stones play he seems to get better.

If we can get Stones though i'll be really trilled.

{Ed002's Note - You know this isn't a dating web site? Do you really want somebody from here to "trill" you?}}

12 Dec 2015 19:59:48
Lol, it's supposed to be thrilled not trilled.

{Ed001's Note - Ed018 will be gutted. He was just flicking through his grinder looking for you...}

Stones all day long. I don't want my centre back whacking balls long to my wingers, I want him to read the game and bring the ball into midfield and play. Stones can do everything a modern day defender should do. He could of pro longed JT's career by 2/3 years.
