Very sad mews about The Cat.
He is one of my favourite all time players. I would always stand behind his goal. In those days you could walk from one end of The Bridge to the other at half time.
He wasn't big but he would always come for crosses and I can never remember him dropping the ball. Very agile with fantastic reflexes he mad so many match saving saves.
Some people always harp back to the Germany game and I believe the public criticism did effect his game but he, for me, is our second best ever keeper.
RIP THE CAT.

Agreed TomB - Bonetti and Cech are the best GKs of my time.
I remember Bonetti making a save in a 5-5 draw with West Ham that I still think was the greatest save I've ever seen - even better than Banks v Brazil.
It is such a shame that PB is remembered by many as the player that 'lost the World Cup'.
