Why did Jose not like KDB? For that has to be the biggest f--k up of his tenure as our manager, and he made a few. I think Pep made Jose look like a dinasour Today. So glad we have Conte now.

To be honest, I have always felt like his methods were outdated. Pep definitely displayed Mourinho's flaws. That being said, Pogba really haven't been impressive since joining United, not that it surprises me.

KDB needs a certain system to play up to his talent level but luckily for him, Pep's system does that. Jose's style of play doesn't really suit KDB but I also think that he would've worked around it to fit him in had he known how he would progress. To me United just got completely overrun in the first half. Zlatan, Rooney, and Fellaini are all rather slow. Also Zlatan, Lingard, and Mikhitaryan all were completely incapable of holding onto the ball which allowed the city backline to press well within Uniteds half.

Tbf, KDB wasn't even half the player he is currently when he was at Chelsea. He didn't fit into JM's style of play and didn't particularly show anything special in the short amount of time he was played. Also I believe he wanted first team football as opposed to fighting for a place.
Yesterday JM made a tactical mistake and shouldn't have started Lingaard and Miki as they weren't fit. He should have played a 4-3-3 but is forced into a 4-2-3-1 due to Rooney.
