I've said that Lewis Baker will be in the first team squad next year. I'm also told that JT will be offered a new extended contract with a dual role within the club but the most important thing is Conte remaining our manager for many yearss. He is a class act!

Well, I sincerely hope you're wrong. Terry has no business being in the first team anymore, even in a dual role. I really like the guy, and he's been a great player for us, but he's finished playing at the top level.

I'm sorry to upset you but JT is staying at the club. He is staying because Conte sees him as an very important member of the Chelsea fabric!

I have no problem with him being a member of the squad if all he dresses for are the games against lower league opposition but I really agree that this system and his abilities do not mesh. Honestly can't see him staying. Absolute legend.

should be offered a coaching role or club ambassador.

JT will be a member of the squad and on the coaching staff. I hope he learns a lot from Conte (class act) as he has from the likes of Carlo and Jose. He is well respected by the players and the Conte team and by the majority of true Chelsea fans! My guess is the majority of fans would also NOT want another Lampard situation.

The club will make no announcement on JT until the Summer, while he will be welcome to stay in a coaching capacity he is no longer seen as a first choice starter. JT himself still wants to continue playing and will almost certainly leave in the Summer to continue his playing career. I hope he lifts both the Premier League and FA Cups at the end of this Season. What a fitting tribute that would be to a Chelsea legend.

The Club and JT's advisors are going through the final details of a new contract. Subject to JT agreeing the financial package, JT will be both a player and on the management staff.

Maybe it's Chelsea idea and way of keeping as a very important squad member and keeping his club love mentality, in the squad?

I've been doing some thinking, and I honestly can't see why we don't seem interested in Lacazette. He's got pace, quite a good physique, is very skilled, and he's got a very good technique, great passing abilities - and obviously a great shot. Although he isn't that tall, he seems more than capable of playing against big defenders and has proven multiple times that he can get things done himself. I imagine an attack with him, Hazard and Pedro would be lethal if Costa were to leave, and I imagine he'd be much easier to get, not to mention cheaper, than the likes of Lukaku, Griezmann or Dybala, and if we were to sell Batshuayi I think we should consider going for Griezmann, whom I also suspect could form a great partnership with Diego, if he doesn't leave.
I also know it's been mentioned a million times after all, but I think Naingolan would be an amazing signing. A midfield trio of him, Kante and Fabregas could, in my opinion, potentially be among the three best midfields in Europe - great defensive cover provided by Kante and Naingolan, and with the physicality provided by Kante and Naingollan, Fabregas could have all the freedom in the world to make THOSE passes.
But all of that is just my humble opinion.

I agree, he has 85 league goals in the last 4 seasons, 25 years old, he's the type of player who will end up at another club, score 25 league goals in a tougher league then his price will double or triple and we will wish we signed him at the original lower price,
