When was the last time we won a league game comfortably ?? The last one I remember was Newcastle in December . For a club of our size that is just shocking .

Believable2 Unbelievable0

The game against Newcastle was far from comfortable, it was 2 very late goals on the counter attack which makes the 3-0 scoreline look comfortable. Newcastle hit the woodwork a few times from what I remember.

It's quite unbelievable how people can come on here and blame roman for "ruining the club" how sad, I mean the dude has spent a lot of money to put chelsea up there, yeah he has made some mistakes but you have to be honest he has done more good than bad 3 league trophies, 6 champions league semi finals and a final,3 fa cups since he arrived at the club .its really sad to read such ungrateful posts cause of one bad season, I'm as mad as most of you are but I honestly believe posts like that are uncalled for. It's gonna be a summer of change that's what we all want and I'm sure the board knows that and will do just that in the summer. No one could have predicted what happened this season and it's not fair to blame Roman .if AVB was a hit like Jose we would all be singing, so let's keep the faith and hope the summer brings good fortunes and also we can go back to challenging for all titles next season. Up Chelsea!! -BLUERAY-

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Ummm.....nobody could of predicted? sorry but it was completely obvious. same old squad only getting worse...no suprises there...only shame is we got rid of a fantastic manager...sentimentality doesnt win football matches.

Agree1 Disagree2

Roman is massively to blame! Sacking managers left right and center! I mean Jose best manager on the planet sacked! Carlo done the double the year later sacked! The bloke is clueless! Ok so ur bringing up all the money he spent were has that got us cos to me we have gone backwards with a team full of deadwood and a 50mill striker who couldn't trap a dead rat in a telephone booth! Pinky{Ed002's Note - You talk of "clueless" after saying Mourinho was sacked. I rather think it is you who has no grasp of the situation.}

Agree1 Disagree2

Haha, some people have a very short memory. We were on the brink of administration before roman took over. I for one am very grateful to the guy

NP

Agree4 Disagree0

Wot ever ed weather he was sacked or let to leave just shows how clueless the bloke is! Tell me another owner who buys the players for their club. Sheva, torres both singings that were clearly brought in cos Roman wanted them and not the manager and then the manager has the pressure to fit them in a system that might not suit them players like torres. Then the manager gets the boot

Pinky {Ed002's Note - You have clearly zero understanding of what goes on at all. There are numerous clubs where the manager has limited or no involvement in the buying of players - Can der Vaart was bought without the knowledge of teh Spurs manager - do you know anything of how transfers work in Spain or Italy?}

Lads can u stop posting all these players that u want at the club cos its annoying and more to the point players like hazard,Cavani etc are not coming next season. Top talent will not arrive at Chelsea with no champs league. So stop playing football manager.

This club needs a total revamp from top to bottom and I honestly believe the slump we in is all down to Roman himself,by keeping players that are way past it and not bedding in younger talent to replace players like lamps and Drogba.

Roman has ruined this club and I can't wait for the day he goes, made us a right joke by sacking every manager we have had! I just wish he would give RDM or even hoddle the job and actually give them 4 or 5yrs to build a team of players that THEY want and not wot Roman wants cos he seen a few clips on YouTube.

Blue for life no matter wot but we are in ruins!

I don't think Di Matteo is the man for the job at Chelsea. It would be a miracle if we were to win the CL or even qualify for the CL, our programme is so hard and our team just doesn't appear as strong as it was two or three years ago.

I think we should try to bring in one of Europe's proven coaches, with which I mean coaches who have been in their positions a while and know how to handle a team as well as make the right signings.

Mourinho and Guardiola would be ideal, we all know what Mourinho can do and according to me established players or talents at Barca will follow Guardiola to Chaelsea.

But both of these coaches will take a lot of money to come to Chelsea, so I think we should go for Klopp (great project at Dortmund), Emeri (turned Valencia in a great side despite financial worries) or Moyes (who has basically kept Everton playing at a consistent level despite having nothing to spend)

Each one of these coaches will create a project worthy of following at Chelsea and will attract big names who are happy to participate in this project and content with playing europa league one season.

We should buy top players, who are currently playing in worse sides:
Bent, Albrighton, (Aston villa)
Verthonghen, Erikson, (ajax)
Mertens (PSV)
De jong (Twente)
Llorente, susaeta, muniain, ... (Bilbao)
Ayew, Remy, azpiliqueta (Marseille)
Marin (Werder Bremen)
Mvilla (Rennes)
...

Ed022 has just told me on the player profile page (good page, worth a look) that he has heard we will be splashing some serious cash in the next transfer window. He has heard of targets but can not disclose them for obvious reasons. So im sure if we all hold tight Ed002 will let us know of any deals that begin to look likely. That is if the same repetitve questions don't make her quit beforehand.

Bring on the spuds!

Is this true ed? {Ed002's Note - There is no doubt that the club is looking to bring players in over the summer. This really should not be much of a shock.}

We need it our centre backs are fine, and left back with cole bertrand, need a right back, mikel and essien have to go bring in tiote & romeu for holding. lamps to be a scholes, but meirelles replaced by lucas moura, brin in mceachran plus modric. left wing kakuta & a new signing, malouda gone. right wing hazard please kalou gone. mata behind the striker, i want torres to succeed but it takin to long but i believe our central midfield and useless make shift winger r to blame i cant see cavani, higuain or ibrahimovic scoring above 10 with our team atm, and STURRIDGE I JUST HATE! Getting near to the end of the season and the rivalry is hotting up:

Torres 50m - 4 goals in 41 games
Carroll 35m - 5 in 37 games

My money is on Big Andy as Torres will probably pull a fingernail in the next game

xxx

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Need to edit the above: Carroll 35m - 6 in 38 games

Cheers

Rivalry over 2 strikers, who cares i just want 4th spot, atleast we have a chance

Agree3 Disagree1

We do?

Agree0 Disagree2

Lol, even If Torres scores 8goals Carroll would still be a better deal. 15m cheaper, younger, fully covered by the Torres deal

' the players were knackered ' is such a bad excuse.
Come on their proffesionals. Tennis players play matches every other day that could last for 5
Hours and then do it all over again the next week.

Agree completely mate, while I understand that our games have been coming thick and fast lately, it isn't like we have started the same 11 consistently. The problem is lack of quality on the ball, lack of creativity, and unfortunately last night looked like a lack of committment to the shirt.

Unfortuantly i think that was our worst game of the season, we had so little width, we were playing on a tiny conjested pitch and we had no attacking outlet. Miereles gave away position soooooooo much last night, Kalou was the only player actually running at the opposition, i am not his biggest fan but at least he tried. Ramires is not a winger, he has been played their a few times this season and it hasnt worked out at all. I would have liked to have seen Romeu play, he makes the correct pass and plays the game simple. Where 2 points off 4th and 1 goal behind in goal difference, we can still do it, we do have some really tough fixtures ahead of us. Keep the faith

Lucky win against struggling Wigan. Unable to kill off Fulham who, if I was feeling generous, I'd describe as average. Anyone still think we've got a chance against Barcelona?

I think it is a good point. Some of the players such as Torres, Ivanovic and Mata, even though he came on as a substitute looked tired, which is to be expected as we are playing so many matches in such a short space of time.Anyway we are closer by one point to Spurs and we still have to play Newcastle ,so I think if we win 3 draw two we will be 4th.It will be close.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I feel so sory for all the tired players, and whats all this he put a good shift in crap,he ran about for 90 minutes not worked down pit for 8 hours, now thats putting a shift in,talk about pampered players, they arent in the real world bless em.

To be honest I'm a little concerned with RDMs selection.

Why Ramires is on the wing against a team like fulham is beyond me. It's one thing to put him out there to aid the full back but if our full backs can't contain frei then we are in trouble. When he's in the middle of the midfield we are 100 times better.

Romeu needs to get time. He's our best deep lying midfielder and unless he lost all of his ability I have no clue why he can't get a game. I'd much rather see him than Lampard in that role.

Mata is exhausted and you can tell. He came on and had almost no impact. It's very similar to David Silva where he's not used to this many games at this speed.

Playing torres and drogba at the same time is pointless. Drogba refuses to work with him.

Nobody on our wings have any end product of any sort.

Terry Cahill Luiz and ivanovic have been stellar lately. Bertrand put in another solid shift. Mikel is mikel where he honestly isn't great but he can make do as a backup but it tells you something when he's the starter. Miereles is the same story.

Finally what do you expect Torres to do with the current service. I agree he wasn't very good today but whenever he touched the ball centrally he had 2 or 3. Players crashing him immediately. The wings again provided nothing. People want their striker to make goals out of nothing but when he's not in form they are clueless.

Why ramires is on the team at all is mystery to me..i actually cannot think of a time that he didnt give away posession. meireles and kalou the same.
