Hi all,
I don't post much, but just wanted to say that of all players we have been linked with I would wish we could have landed E. Cavani and L. Paredes (although I have only seen Paredes and Barello on YT so not exactly objective) . With them 2 players we could have had a complete team. The passion of EC is something we are missing upfront. And technical ability and an eye for a goal in the form of Paredes could bring more goals from CM.
As I said above, everything about Barello = youtube but he looks raw and his sliding challenges is a red card waiting to happen. I am not exactly sure where yhe hype comes from if these are best bits. But these are my 2 picks. Who would be yours if you could pick 2 out of the players we are linked to and why. I doubt it Magic, I think Chelsea is nailed on with Barella unless the kid doesn't want to come. What's there to be worried about, we have Sarri, Zola, Jorginho and Zappa who of course will help him settle.

Nobody knows mate. We're talking about Chelsea, a team who have always gone about their business quietly. It wouldn't suprised me IF Sarri is appointed that we'll have a couple of singings in quick succession but that's if we actually get him. If you read into the rumours apparently Golovin and Rugani are "close" to signing. But we're known to throw a few surprises.

From reading other pages on this site I've seen that Rugani has agreed to sign for an unnamed club so that could be us. Strong reports of Golovin but again who knows. We'll know by the end of the window, that's how I keep myself sane haha.

Hi, all
If anyone watching monaco vs juve can enlighten me how on earth bakayoko meant to replace fabregas next season? I haven't seen much of him before but i certainely don't like what i see now. doesn't get much involved and when he does he makes mistakes. I know juve are class but if we are to challange in UCL next season we need players that are up for it and not collapsing due to lack of quality/ experience.

I agree he didn't play well and I'm still not certain if I'd take him or tielemans/ tolisso at Chelsea (both young prospects) but he has helped Monaco challenge in Europe and against bvb and Man City he played very well. He's strong and can tackle but I don't see him taking fabs place, more like a young Matic with room for improvement.

Hello everyone on the site. Long time reader 1st time poster. A question for ed002: shall I assume that transfer of Vietto to AM is in connection with the possibility of Griezmann going to Chelsea? Or is it separate matters? Thanks and please go easy on me. Pleasure to be part of this forum.

I am on here everyday and I think this is the first time since the last horrible transfer window that I have seen an actual disscussion between yous. I absolutely love it. Well said superfrank. I thought it was just one of those days that nothing comes out of our efforts. We played well and for about 70 min you could have called it a siege. Stay positive. Shut happens. The only really annoying point in the game was for me g. cahill when benteke scored continously backing off instead going for a challenge.
