The quote seemed to indicate the rejected bid wasn't the end of the story. I think this one could happen.
Higuain has sent a goodbye video message to Dani Alves too. He said earlier in the week that he wants to play in the EPL before retiring. Picking him up on a free would be great business.

Of course, anitbot, but Marotta himself has already said that in the end the player has the power to decide. If we make a good offer (which I'd like to believe 50-60 million is, especially for a fullback) and Sandro makes it clear he'd like to join us then I think it could happen. It's a big "if" though.
Why would Sandro want to leave Juve for Chelsea? We can easily double his current wages.

He's probably the best leftback in the world right now, absolutely world class. I really like Alonso, but if you've got the chance to get a guy like Sandro then you do just that.
In the CL he hounded Messi and Neymar, they couldn't do anything against him. Top class player, but very unlikely we'll get him.

Ed002 gave a good update on Hakimi on the European page if people want to check it out. Basically says Inter want €60m upfront or €80m in instalments and us among other clubs see it as too much which i agree with to be honest. I'd love him here but given how much a deal for Haaland could cost too i'd be surprised if we spent a lot on Hakimi. Getting both would be a dream but i'd be shocked if we do it.

Seen an interview from cone today rubbishing the move to inter says he would like to stay at Chelsea beyond his contract if possible but did say he missed his family in Italy I reckon they have not moved to England because as you have seen with managers coming and going in England he probably wanted to make sure he was secure at Chelsea before moving the family.

I agree with Jackson in a sense I'm actually dreading this window usually winning the league would mean a good transfer window but it looks as though are squad is going to be picked apart.
