Ake being sold has left me feeling very angry and disalusioned. In my opinion he is already better than Cahill and is naturally left footed. We have Christenson coming back but it looks like he doesn't want to stay at the club. Plus we have Chalaboa with one year left on his contract. We have to start giving these quality players a chance!

Yes Nathan Ake had everything to be at CFC. However board decided to cash on the player.
I think we will go for upgrade on Cahill at CB position.

I think Conte is making it clear who he wants and does not want to mount a defence of the title and to challenge strongly in Europe and looking at the 'rumours' he clearly thought the team was not strong enough. I personally do not think Lukaku is on his radar, maybe someone else but not his.

I have been a season ticket holder for 55 years and suffered along with other old codgers many highs and a lot of lows but if we don't give some of our youngsters a chance this year I will be gutted!

I agree i think cahill am david luiz are both poor defenders cahil maybe more better for the team than luiz given his goal tally but once there's a buy back in these young lads contracts then it isn't a big deal selling i suppose. i don't think traore will ever be top class but i think ake is a quality young man and defender.

NO Chalaboa buyback clause. I know we were over a barrel with just one year left on his contract but he has been at the club since he was 10. This is all madness. Christensen will be sold before the window is closed.

I'm sure the club will continue to sign quality players during this window but I am very disappointed that Chalaboa and Ake have been sold. Two players with a big future and I'm convinced they will play many times for their respective countries.

I will NOT be happy if Ake is sold. I want Chalaboa to be given a chance to prove himself.

I've had abuse from my fellow Chelsea fans when I have questioned the clubs use of our best batch of young players that we have had for a very long time. Chalaboa being sold would in MY opinion be madness. We may well look very stupid when these lads are in there national teams at the next world cup.
