Thoughts on Virgil van Dijk?
With all the drama around us chasing a cb pre-season I actually thought at one point that we could do worse than bid 15-20mil for him. Decent all round defending with good strength and pace. From the game time I have watched of him he seems to be maturing in the league. An upgrade on Cahill and Ivanovic?
Just wish he would cut the mop on his head. Might do wonders for his defender image.

I think he'd cost more than you think. He's generally rated very highly. 15-20 million would be considered a steal.

Maybe the best CB in the league right now in my opinion. I rate him very highly, and I'm sure Soton do as well.

If changes need to be made then let it start with our club's community.
Mikel was a diligent servant of Chelsea Football Club. We were so lucky to have him in our dressing room, and his move to, and participation at Chelsea catalysed a broad Nigerian/ African fanbase. He should be respected for that alone.

I'd like to add Tore Andre Flo as a hit for the memory banks.
FA Cup, League Cup, Cup Winners etc; and I still remember those two goals he banged in against Barcelona at the Bridge to carry us to a 3-1 victory. What a magical night.
